We have been invited to beautiful Bear Mountain disc golf course in Bailey, Colorado for our 1st annual Putting for Parkinson’s tournament. It is a GEN admission singles tournament to support our local Parkinson’s association - Parkinson’s association of the Rockies (PAR). Every hole is designed to be challenging and fun in every way. From throwing blind off the tee, to 5’ high triple mando’s there’s a challenge on every hole. We will be playing the traditional 22 hole layout for the tournament. I would like to send a huge thank you to Dan Hart and family for allowing us to host the tournament on his property. The week of, I will be sending out a players information e-mail, in that email will include a schedule for the day of, parking arrangements and a car pool meeting location for the tournament. We highly ENCOURAGE people to meet up and car pool to the DGC. There is extremely limited parking at the DGC. We will be awarding -5 starting strokes for EVERYONE who carpools. There will be plenty of raffle items up for grabs from sponsors and donors. Feel free to bring a pocket full of cash, raffle tickets will be $1. Raffle items include stacks of MVP discs, MVP baskets, hats, signed discs, whale sacs, gift cards, stickers and so much more! We will be selling strokes as well, every dollar you spend is a stroke off your starting score. Trophies will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners as well as a CTP winner. Players packs at this time are still TBD, but will most likely consist of a custom stamped disc. Also, we will be using UDisc Live to keep score. With that being said please make sure you have it downloaded and an account set up so you can check in and we can get things rolling.
