Putnam County Flying Disc Classic Players' Party

Join us at Valley Park in Hurricane, West Virginia on Friday August 31st for a players' party to celebrate the grand opening of the state's newest course. The entire layout will be open for practice and Gateway will be hosting two events to add to the fun...
Three Disc Challenge - Players may select any three discs to complete a round of 18 holes from the short tees. Once the round has started, players may only use these three discs to complete the round. Each entry gets players a choice of a Gateway driver or midrange. Awards will go to the top three finishers in each division.
Putting Contest - Entries will practice their short game by putting two times from nine markers on the putting green. Scores are based on the difficulty and distance of the putts made. Each entry gets players a choice of a Gateway putter. Awards will go to the top three finishers in each division. Players may opt to better their score and play multiple times for an additional $2 per round (without getting an additional disc).
Entry fees will be $15 per event or $25 for both events. Each entry gets players a choice of a Gateway Disc and top three finishers in each division will earn awards. Recreational players will win prizes from Gateway and Advanced players will earn cash payouts. This event is open to anyone wanting to participate and check out West Virginia's newest course!
