Don't forget Tournament Central will be at the Sports Chalet just a short 2 minute drive from the course. Just continue on the main park road and take the first left. There is signage that indicates the Chalet and Forestry Offices.

Also, we WILL NOT be assigning holes on the PDGA site. This will be done in the morning once we ensure all who have registered are present. This will be the case for all three rounds, as we will also be coordinating the cards to ensure our Island spotters get their groups out of the way first each later round. This means that THE PLAYERS MEETING BEFORE EACH ROUND IS MANDATORY!!! Players will need to see their starting holes on the Score Point for that round and we will also discuss layouts, OBs and rules for each upcoming round. Each meeting will be at Tournament Central (Spots Chalet).

After each meeting players will have ample time to drive to the course and get to their starting holes. A 2 minute warning and tee time approximate time will be given at each meeting as well. Please note that carpooling to the course from TC is a good idea whenever possible.

Also, when getting to the course, DO NOT PARK ON THE GRASS ANYWHERE!!!!! Once the lot and gravel drive area are full, please use the Maintenance Road on the left before parking along the main park drive to the course. This is at the request of the Park Manager, so please advise these suggestions.

We've had a flurry of drops over the last week and I'm sure more to come. If you've been added to the waitlist and will not be making it, please be sure to let us know ASAP so that others can be prepared if they get in to the event.

I wouldn't be surprised to see another 3-5 drops this week. So keep an eye on the event page and your emails, as you will be contacted via email from dgs when you have officially been granted a spot.

Weather is looking good for this weekend. Let's hope that remains the case.

We are still accepting donations for our event raffle if anybody is interested. Earn yourself some good course and event Karma by donating some discs or other goodies to be raffled off. All proceeds go back into the course and other events we run, so it's a win-win for all involved!! If you are interested in donating, please let us know so we can be ready to have a spot on the table.

Tickets will be available to players, caddies, volunteers, and any event visitors or spectators at a cost of $1 each and 6 for $5. You will not need to be present to win, but we will have to make arrangements for delivery or shipping in the instance you are not going to be present. The raffle will occur after Round 3 at the Sports Chalet and will be done while payouts and event details and awards are being finalized. Tickets will be available for sale at any point during the event at Tournament Central.

Hole 1: Surrounded by water (Pine Lake)
Hole 2: Yellow Rope along Pine Lake. See below for Island Rules
Hole 3: Yellow Rope along Pine Lake. See below for Gold Tee (Platform) Rules
Hole 4: Yellow Rope along left side (separating 4/9 fairways) and along creek on the right and around "island" green, including the roped area separating hole 4/5 fairways. All areas in the creek are OB, as they are between the OB ropes for holes 4 and 9. PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO LONGER A DROP ZONE FOR THIS HOLE!!!!! Play your next shot from the last point the disc was inbounds with a penalty stroke for all shots played on this hole.
Hole 5: Yellow Rope along right side (separating 5/4 fairways). This generally only comes into play from the Blue or White Tees
Hole 6: Yellow Rope along Pine Lake
Hole 7: No OB
Hole 8: Surrounded by Water (Pine Lake)
Hole 9: Yellow Rope along right side (separating 9/4 fairways) and around chasm area near the Long Pin
Hole 10: No OB
Hole 11: Yellow Rope along left side and around creek that passes behind the pin

Hole 15: Yellow Rope along Pine Lake and on left side past the Short Pin (rough areas along Pine Lake)
Hole 16: No OB (White Ropes near "A" pin ARE NOT OB

Special Rules:

Hole 2 Island Rule: Discs must come to rest on the Island to be considered in bounds. Crossing over the Island or hitting the Island and skipping OB are not considered in bounds. YOU MUST LAND SAFELY IN BOUNDS ON YOUR THROW TO ADVANCE.

There are wooden planks on the front and right side that mark the OB line. The back side and left side areas have yellow ropes that mark the OB line. The bridge is considered OB. If a shot does not land safely on the Island, the player will throw again from the last point of being in bounds. If the attempt to throw to the Island occurs in the 2 Short Pin green and does not land safely on the Island, the player has the option to move to the concrete tee near the bridge for their next throw. This area will be marked off with spray paint to indicate the 2 Short Pin Green area that allows a player to throw from the concrete tee on their next attempt (if desired) when going OB.

Hole 3 Gold Tee (Platform) Rule: Discs must come to rest in bounds off of the drive to be considered in bounds. If a disc does not land safely in bounds or makes contact with an object and goes OB when throwing from the Platform, the player will take their next shot from the Blue 3 Tee Pad with a one stroke penalty. The player also has the option to re-tee with penalty if preferred.

These OBs and Special Rules will be in effect all three rounds.

Please note, that these OBS and Rules are subject to change based on course conditions and weather. Any changes will be communicated during the pre-round Player's Meetings to ensure all players are aware.

Of most importance is that we will be having Tournament HQ at the Sports Chalet located in the park. This is just a little further in and can be found using the first drive on the left. All event happenings including registration, awards, the raffle, etc. will be at this location unless otherwise communicated.

Event OBs will also be posted shortly. Sheets will be provided with OBs and special rules during the player's meetings.

4 of 6 Spots that are saved for the Women's Divisions that remain will be held until the end of May. Since they are not moving as quick as we had hoped, we need to ensure players have an adequate window for moving off the waitlist. With that being said, the other 2 spots will be saved until the end of June to hopefully fill out a card for the Women's division. If any of these spots do not get taken in the timeline above, they will be given to players on the waitlist in the order that is listed on the event page.
