Bob Becker   July 28, 2017 at 12:31pm

Thank you Joe. I know it's 195 each. We will make sure it's correct before and when we send in the final report this weekend.

Joe Cruz   July 28, 2017 at 12:38pm

There are missing payouts for the rest of the open field as well, just wanted to make sure they those guys weren't forgotten either!

Joe Cruz   July 30, 2017 at 12:23am

I lost a blue firebird just off of the shore on 15, and a orange x-cal on 3. Anyone find them?

I seen your discs they were in a bin they are still there

Bobby Jones   July 28, 2017 at 11:37am

I know some NYers lost a few also.

Bob Becker   July 28, 2017 at 4:07pm

If they are found we will contact. If in the water, we will have to wait for Lilly pads to die off for a descent recovery operation.

I agree. I had a blast and friends of punderson deserve a round of applause for the condition of the course. Thank you

Ryan "Tex" Kimbro   July 26, 2017 at 11:40am

Collaboration like this makes for good times. Thank you all staff and volunteers.

Andy Morrison    July 26, 2017 at 12:22am

There were questions and debates regarding the special conditions used on Hole 2 (playing to the island) and Hole 3 (playing back to land) that I would like to address. An excerpt of the rule book:

805.03 Special Conditions
Last updated: Wednesday, December 26, 2012 - 13:28
A) Rules governing special conditions that may exist on the course shall be clearly defined and disseminated to all players prior to the start of the tournament. All special conditions shall be covered in the players ... more

Thanks Kristy. We bit off a lot this year with the additions to the course, and trying to be able to accommodate more players. We've learned a lot and we will make the needed tweaks to eliminate the things we've been made aware of. I appreciate your criticisms, although iI will admit, it h ... more

For my first time up there.. as expected the course itself was great, but the layout and rules for various holes seemed very "we're running our first tournament" like. It was by far the most confusing layout I've ever seen in some 100 courses I've played. I had heard good ... more

I understand that i can come off brutally honest sometimes but its not to bash anyone for sure. In the future these are the things that I think would make that event go a little better: First off, tee times. If you want to hose that many players on one course, you just need to do tee times. You can ... more

Pretty sure there's a player missing in MM1...?

Yo Eric, Is it merely coincidence that the date of Puns Labyrinth is the same as the beginning of Shark Week? Hmmm...
Seriously though, hope the event went well and that I can make it next year.

The payout amounts for MPO 3rd place are incorrect. We each received $195. Also, it looks like a few payouts are missing from several divisions.

Shawn Babella   July 24, 2017 at 11:33pm

I noticed that too. there was a person that scored a 91 along with me in Ma1 thats not on the results list

Bob Becker   July 25, 2017 at 7:00am

thank guys. will fix it

Cody Dockrill   July 25, 2017 at 10:09am

same with our tie for 8th, we were given $70 each - not listed at all. Greg in 7th was also paid out obviously.

Kristy Moore    July 24, 2017 at 8:53pm

So any explanation of what happened to the AM payouts? what was posted and paid out varied greatly, it doesn't seem like a simple math error can explain the differences from what was posted and what was paid. I know Micha was stoked to see the payouts and when he was done was talking about getting his payout, $170 was posted for second place in MA2 and he got $65? Also curious as to why their division with 30 players and 1st got $80, but the FA1 winner with only three in the division received $95? Any insight or explanation?

Yes, there is an excel document from the PDGA that helps you figure out the payouts for each division. In this document, it asks for the value of the player's packs (to be subtracted). Our mistake was entering the amount for a single player's pack, instead of the player's pack value m ... more

Andy Morrison   July 25, 2017 at 8:46pm

Additionally, we also provided the following ADDED value to the tournament, at no expense to any of the players. $500 for campsites. $300 for pizza. The sports chalet for HQ that rents for $150 a day. $5000+ for baskets and tee signs for the expanded course. Maps, tee signs and custom scorecards for each round being played. Live music and more.

Andy Morrison   July 25, 2017 at 9:52pm

I would be remiss if I didn't mention that some players from Pool B returned some of their winnings when they learned of our mistake. We don't expect anyone to return money. It was our mistake and we simply corrected things for Pool A. We're sorry for the confusion our mistake (and co ... more

if anyone wants to spot for pool B this morning come up to the chalet and get a disc for you volunteer efforts.

Anyway I could get refunded.

Anthony B   July 21, 2017 at 9:04pm

Kinda sucks but oh well. Can I still camp since it's paid in full. Really wanted to play in this event but my shoulder isn't healed yet. Tested out at Friday night dubs in Massillon and took one throw and dropped from this event.

Kristy Moore    July 21, 2017 at 6:01pm

So what are all of these new layouts going to do to the ratings for these rounds? Have these formats been played in pdga rounds before? On average what does adding hole do to the strokes vs ratings points?

IF you are worried about weather and camping Saturday night - 8 hotel rooms just opened up at the manor they were nice enough to let me know this morning. - If you go in on it with friends, the prices aren't too bad. Please call (440) 564-9144 or just head up to the front desk to make a Reservation and mention the WELCOME15 coupon they are running right now.

PRE-EVENT RAFFLE TICKETS - I'm extending the pre-event rates and Manor Stay entries through tomorrow (FRIDAY) because the manor actually gave me a TWO NIGHT STAY instead of a ONE NIGHT STAY - which is awesome! So I didn't think it would be fair to not give everyone a chance to get in on that.
