I haven't had a chance to get down and play the course yet, and will be playing it blind. I think I already have an idea but how cart friendly is or isn't the course?

Bag it!

Jaime Perry   August 1 at 5:34pm

I'm leaving my cart at home ... it's doable but not really cart friendly.

Tyler Buckley   August 2 at 12:09am

Thanks for the responses guys. That's kind of the vibe I've gotten from some pictures and video I've seen, and a few others talking about it. Technically doable but not really easy going. Looks like I'll bag it, which is the direction I was leaning.

Just a reminder in case anyone is unaware ... there is a 5$ parking fee at the gate and they only accept cards, no cash.

Ahh Matt included this in the email. That guy is always on top of everything

Matt Zollitsch   July 31 at 9:55pm

We all appreciate you lookin out Jaime! See you soon!

Playing a practice round later today @ 5:30 or 6 if anyone wants to join.

I’ll be there on Friday to play a round or two.

Preston Dwyer    July 30 at 2:39pm

Can I change my tee time so that I am with my friend?

Tyler Buckley   July 30 at 3:14pm

Yes, click the players "tab" and then click edit next to your name and scroll down to the tee time and select the one you want (provided it isn't already a full tee time).

Matt Zollitsch   July 30 at 5:37pm

Thanks for the help Tyler. Email me if you need a hand.

Barry, did you show your work?

Mike Dammes   July 29 at 6:16pm

It’s like that show “Whose line is it” - The points don’t matter. It’s all about the fun factor!

Barry Barnett   July 30 at 1:20am

My dog ate my calculations.

Travis Thompson    July 26 at 4:35am

Yes, if the event is a true amateur trophy only the TD should payout 100% of the entry fee through player pack and other amenities
https://www.pdga.com/td/true-amateur
If it is a standard C-tier there is a 45% required payout

Jackson, let's go brother! See you Sat!

Jackson Baer   August 1 at 2:27pm

Don’t think I can make it, my stupid shoulder again.

Travis Thompson   August 2 at 7:29pm

To be clear, Will, the only thing I was incorrect on was a 40% requirement. Everything in my reddit post about Zollitsch being dishonest with players was totally accurate and I stand behind every word of it. Matt called me afterwards to admit that he was in the wrong and personally apologize. The fact that he never did so publicly is very telling about his character

Travis Thompson    July 26 at 1:55am

Am payout for a standard C-tier has to be at least 45% per PDGA rules. I would recommend anyone considering playing in this series take a look at the comment section from last year's Finale

I would do more than take a look at the comments. Take a look at what you are getting when you pay your $40. To me, the return is much more than $40. 2 discs, free chances at CTPs, lunch card for Chick Fil A, and a sanctioned round. All seems fair to me. Thank you for all your hard work that goes into these events, Zo.

Rick Smith   July 28 at 3:29am

Agree with Chad 100 percent

Jaime Perry   July 29 at 12:25pm

Once again, I want to thank Matt and Prodigy for putting on these events. In my mind they are a great value, thanks for all you do for the community.
