Date has been changed to November 5th due to schedule conflict.
Featuring World Champion Level Discs!
We're thrilled to announce our latest event in collaboration with Gorilla Disc Golf: the
Prodigy Disc Trio - "Pick Your Poison" tournament!
One Unsanctioned Round at Jack Brooks Meadows
- Sunday November 5th, 2023 starting at 1pm.
This later start should give you enough time to get used to throwing the discs a little bit.
Get ready to choose your weaponry from an exclusive selection of high-quality discs. In this unique event, you'll have the power to select the discs that suit your style or simply pique your curiosity.
Custom Stamps: For the first time ever, Prodigy Discs will feature custom stamps designed by Gorilla Disc Golf. Each of the three main molds you select will proudly display this one-of-a-kind stamp.
Prize Discs: The excitement doesn't end there! Prize discs will be awarded based on the number of players in your division. The more players, the more prize discs up for grabs. Imagine competing for some of the latest and most popular molds in Premium 400 plastic.
Entry Fee Perks: Your entry fee includes the following:
• Three discs specifically chosen for tournament play.
• An additional disc for the prize pool.
That's right, you order four top-tier discs for just $38, retail value $70+. Even if you don't place that is a $60ish dollar value in plastic.
Disc Selection for the Tournament: There is limited quantities of each mold so sign up early to secure the one you want... THOSE A5 GLIMMERS WILL GO QUICK. They aren't putters per se but that's all part of the Picking of your Poison.
Drivers:
• Feedback in 500 Plastic - • As controllable of a disc as they come, the Feedback can hold a line with little movement left-to-right for the majority of its flight before a dependable fade helps you hit your landing spot. These typically have a little beef to them so take that into account.
• Shadowfax in 500 Plastic - The Shadowfax is a fairway driver that can help you shape beautiful lines as you've seen Cale do time and time again. It has controllable high speed turn that's complemented by a mild finish to keep it from rolling over. Hyzerflips and smooth turnovers with a nice flat finish are right in your hands with the Shadowfax.
Midranges:
• Archive in 500 Plastic - A beadless midrange that is able to soar effortlessly through the sky with enhanced glide, and a touch of overstability to give it unwavering accuracy and a steadfast resistance to swirling winds.
• M4 in 500 Plastic - The Prodigy Disc M4 is an extremely reliable understable midrange disc. It is designed for all players and flies extremely far for a midrange. The M4 will turn up when thrown hard and will then have an extra long glide and a soft straight finish.
Putt/Approach:
• PA-3 in 300 Firm (previously 350g) - The Prodigy Disc PA-3 is our top selling putt & approach disc. Aim straight at the basket and nail your putts and approaches with a laser straight, stable flight path. The PA-3 features a beaded rim and is a favorite for disc golfers of all skill levels.
• A-5 in 500 GLIMMER!! - The Prodigy A5 is a slightly overstable approach disc that will work in to be a straight flyer. It has a nice, smooth feel with a shallow profile and flat top, which makes it ideal for sidearm approaches. It can handle torque well and has a mild finish on the end, so it won't skip too far from where it lands.
You will also be able to select if you want to buy a carrying bag or even a new Apex Premium bag at lower than retail prices only for this event. These bags are optional.
We will have an Ace Pot that will have a CTP throw off if it is not hit.
