Plantin’ Season... O Frabjous Day!
About this tournament
“Beware the Jabberwock, my child
The thorns that bite, the chains don’t catch
Beware the JubJub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch”
The Farm invites everyone out for a day of golf. Hope you can make it! Pro divisions will play long tees (The Jabberwocky) first round and short tees (The White Rabbit) second round. Everyone else will play short tees (Hippity-hop) all day. Leave your name, division and pdga#, if any, in the comments. Thanks, y’all!
1) All payouts 4 all divisions will be cash money.
2) If rain’s been a-fallin’, it’s gonna be muddy. The Farm makes use of the latest 100% natural tee technology. Behoof yerselves appropriately.
3) There will be trophies for all divisions that have players signed up at least a week early. Somehow, our captive trophy elves are union represented and require notice in order to fulfill demands.
4) We will be making chili. It probably won’t last long unless others lug a crock pot of their own to add to the mix. Never fear! We are about one mile from Meijer, Culver’s, Taco Bell, BK, Wendy’s, and many other ration slinging establishments.
5) You May have noticed a few divisions normally offered are missing. Since this event is unsanctioned and has a limited
field on account of the plague and all, we wanted to have fewer/larger divisions. When signing up, a good guideline equals: >925 should oughtta play pro but don’t have to unless above 935. (Don’t worry! 1000 rated players are welcome, but I rather doubt this is the dance they are going to this weekend. Besides, distance<accuracy here. 16 of 18 holes are in the woods.) Intermediate is approximately 875-925, and am4 is for newer players and anyone rated below 875 who doesn’t wish to compete meat grinder style against those so and sos who think they’re so much better. Get ‘em, I say.
6) Bring yo masks. If “emergency” restroom needs occur, you will need one to enter the house. As this is Farm country, dudes can find a secluded woodland moment. Masked women may superhero/supervillain their way to indoor facilities.
