Due to Covid 19 we had to replace our normal time slot with the 25th Annual Texas State Disc Golf Championship Presented by Latitude 64
The 2020 Piney Woods Open presented by the Rose City Disc Club & Onion Field Disc Golf is a 2- day PDGA B-tier event with Shotgun Format. This year we are celebrating our 17th anniversary of this event! On December 5-6th, Lindsey Park will play host again for up to 216 players on her 3 championship caliber courses. The Cedar Course plays on red banded DisCatcher baskets, and holds our signature pyramid hole 9. It will require players to manage a lot of OB, some significant distance, and avoiding bogeys is a must in order to keep up with the competition. The Hickory Course plays on blue banded DisCatcher baskets, and boasts the most elevation in the park. Players will need to score as many birdies as they can in order to stay in the hunt on this course. The dreaded Dogwood Course plays on gold banded DisCatcher baskets & Latitude 64 Pro Baskets, and winds it's way through the woods behind the Cedar Course. Players will have to commit to their shot and execute, along with maintaining a strong mental game in order to navigate the Dogwood's nerve wracking fairways successfully.

Each pool will start second round on Saturday 1 Hour after last card of their pool.
Final 9 (MPO & FPO) will be a Safari Style utilizing all 3 Courses
