Although we have a general division registry the day of the event all Women, Juniors, Men will be pooled together.

A new spin on standard play
This event first and foremost is about remembering our dear friends and loved ones that played disc golf with us and loved it as much as we do but there play time was cut short.
The reason why this event is special is because of its theme and name. The theme, rise from the ashes when you most need. How do you do this in an event? Well you create the ability to by creating specialized scoring situations. This idea is based off the Trilogy challenge/Birdie Bash/ Ace run formats. The idea behind this is the same as the rest in the sense that is to grow and open the sport to newer players as well as allow those obsessed with the sport to have a new format to play and also level the playing field. Difference with this event is that instead of doing this with the discs we will be doing it with the course. Holes 1,3,5,6,9,13,16,18 will all have three 8ft squares placed in random areas upon the fairway. These squares if you land in them will minus a stroke from your final score on the hole. On 2, 4,7,8,10,11,12,14,15,17 there will be one 6ft squares. The point behind this is that for those who do not have a lot of distance in their drive they will have a chance of laying up into these squares and having a closer throw to the pin. Those who have impeccable aim can try to only aim for these and just frog hop up the fairway for a possible very short ace run. But make your choice to play wisely, play as normal and maybe get lucky by landing in one of the squares or play to aim for the squares to get short ace runs and possibly risk getting in trouble with OB or rough shots, it is all up to you. This format has been tested by Pros, Ams, and new players and they loved it. We cant wait for everyone to try this.
The event will be in a couple stages.
First Round will be a singles round. All players will throw their best round with the format. This round will be the only round open to junior players. This round will have awards given out to best and worst round for juniors, womens, and mens with 2 CTP's.
Second round will be a doubles round. This round will be open to the women and men of the singles round only. The top half scorers of the singles round will be paired randomly with the bottom half of the singles round. This round will have awards for best and worst round along with 2 CTP's. Cash pay out to the top 3 places of this round.
All rounds will be thrown from the blues tees.
