With the close of registration, we are making the following changes to the player pools and schedule-
1- FPO will move from Pool C to Pool B
2- Instead of two small pools, Pools C and D will be combined into a single Pool. This new Pool will be playing Roland Park on Saturday morning, Kline's Run on Saturday afternoon, and finishing up with a tee time round at Roland Park on Sunday.

Just wanted to leave a quick note to say "Thank You" to the tournament staff for a great weekend of disc golf and all of the prep that went into it. This was my first tournament since moving to Central PA and truly had a blast getting to meet a bunch of new players, and playing some fun new courses. Thanks again for everything!
Glad to hear you had a good time and welcome to the area! I think you'll find we have some really fun courses and a vibrant tournament scene

In case you missed the email from Shawn….we are running a DISTANCE competition following the end of the PA State championship on Sunday!
We are running tee times on Sunday but I am hoping this will entice you all to hang out a bit and watch the final round to crown the PA state champ. Immediately after the final round we will run the distance competition at Muddy Run, between the upper pavilion and hole 8’s fairway (throwing off the road). Since this is a first time thing, we&rs ...

I read that reg is closed, but I'd be happy to play in MP55 to make it nice even foursome.

Any idea what the range of tee times will be for Sunday?
Per the event guide sent out by email, tee times will start at 9am on Sunday.
hey Shawn, I did not receive an e-mail as of yet. Thanks for any help getting one out to me.

If we pick up our players pack on Friday, do you think the course would be too full from the flex start to get a few practice holes in if we aren't in the flex start?
Thanks, and looking forward to playing in States!
I would say if anything 19-27 should be open the whole time. If worse comes to worse you could get hopes in there.
The flex start will be played on 1-18. You are free to play 19-27 at your leisure. I imagine 10-18 will be busy at times but it depends on turnout and your time of arrival.

How do we sign up for doubles on Friday?
No need to sign up online. After you pick up your player's pack, you and partner can grab a scorecard and begin as long as at least one other team is also ready to begin.

I'm pumped to see the layouts. I'm a glutton for punishment hoping for mostly golds in Pool B, but it will likely be a mix.

Are caddy’s allowed ?
I'd like to know of any tournament where caddies weren't allowed, and what the logic was. Maybe an X-tier?

How long does the refund take when i drop?
I process them as soon as I can. Yours was done about 5:45am this morning.

When will the layouts be determined for this event? For C pool- what holes will be played at Roland park? Also, will Klines Run be a mix of short and long baskets?
Layouts will be finalized 7/14. Expect a mixed layout at Klines's. There is a possibility that C and D pools will be combined at this point.
If the pools combine, will it be two rounds at Klines or two rounds at Roland?

Just to confirm, Disc Golf Scene show the Klines Run course as removed. I assume this info is out of date?
https://www.discgolfscene.com/courses/Klines_Run
If you search Klines run, two courses come up on DiscGolfScene. Not sure why, but one of them shows the course you linked, and the other is the actual course listing.

Is it possible to be switched from MPO to MA1?
You will need to select a Jersey size. Size charts are posted in the pictures section.

If I am traveling in from farther away, is it possible for another play to pick up my players pack?
Isaiah Lamison May 2, 2023 at 12:53am
back when I registered, small was not an option for jersey size. is there any plan to add more smalls?
Weird oversight, my apologies. It's been fixed and I changed your jersey size to small.
The same is true for me. Can I switch from a medium to a small? Thanks!
Cory O’Deair May 1, 2023 at 3:53am
What are the jerseys made out of? Do they run smaller? I’m in between xxl and xl so I was wondering if it’s a true fit or if I should size up
Size charts added to the pictures. There are a quick dry material.

Any plans to open more juniors spot? Only 2 players per division seems pretty small considering the rest of the field isn't even a quarter full.
I'll be adding more spots to divisions the beginning of each month. I am completely open to adding other divisions as well but would also do so at the beginning of each month. I would suggest getting on the waitlist so that when those spots are available, you will get them immediately. You can sign up for MJ18 now and just add your requested division in the "Notes" section.
Heard. Thanks for the help! Best of luck in running your event.

Can folks from other states play?
All players do need to be PDGA members though since this is a B tier event.
Rob Weaver February 27, 2023 at 2:25am
Do both players in the doubles have to be signed up for the singles tournament ?
No. It will be a trophy only, doubles event that will be sanctioned as an XC-tier. The cost for player's not playing in the PA States singles event will be $10.
On what date will the layouts be posted?
working on it now
Layouts and Schedule posted in the Schedule section
