I need to drop. Fact is that when I signed up for this it may not even have been though my usual disc golf scene account...not quite sure how I did it, but I was looking a few weeks ago to be sure I had this weekend clear of tournaments. Just saw I got the email and came to double check. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Peter, thanks for the heads up. As per the posted Refund Policy, any amateur who drops after the close of registration will only receive their player's pack in lieu of a monetary refund. You may pick up your player's pack in the morning at Roland Park or contact me sometime next week to arrange a time to do so.

Jacob Yohn    July 21, 2022 at 12:04pm

For MA1, do we checking at Roland even tho we are playing at Shiprock?

Shawn Conroy   July 21, 2022 at 4:46pm

Yes. You need to check in at Roland so you can get your player's pack. You may check in between 11am and 2pm as it says on the schedule. You will have plenty of time to drive to Shiprock for warmups

Mihai Veres    July 18, 2022 at 9:23pm

If is possible can I be moved to MA 4?

done

I know people are anxious to know which courses they will be assigned to each day. As you may know, Fairview DGC sustained a fair amount of damage with the recent storms. We have a work party going out there tomorrow (Monday) to assess and try to get the course into playable shape. Volunteers are welcome and would be greatly appreciated. A full schedule and the accompanying course caddy guides should be sent out by Tuesday evening. Sorry for the delay.

Putting the finishing touches on the caddy guide right now; the posted schedule on the registration has been updated to include which courses are being played on each day. The field is being split into 2 Pools. Pool A will be All Pros and MA1, Pool B will be everyone else.

Gary Daddario   July 20, 2022 at 5:56pm

Thanks for all the work Shawn! The caddy guide looks great! I'm guessing hole assignments won't be out until the day before?

Shawn Conroy   July 20, 2022 at 6:10pm

Correct, to account for late drops, etc

Ethan Yawger    July 16, 2022 at 11:37pm

I have two questions:
1)I know registration is closed but is there any chance I can switch my division to MA1

2)when will we be notified what days we play each course.

Division changed per your request. Planning to post full schedule on Tuesday as we need to fully assess whether Fairview can be utilized due to recent storm damage.

Brett Bailey    July 11, 2022 at 8:39pm

Any information on where check in will be and what courses are being played when?

Shawn Conroy   July 11, 2022 at 10:06pm

An email with that info will be sent to all players at the end of the week.

Brett Bailey   July 12, 2022 at 1:02pm

Thanks!

I would also like to sign up if it’s not too late.

Registration is closed for all Amateurs. The final order has already been placed for player's pack items. Sorry.

Nina Ayala    July 11, 2022 at 4:50pm

Is it too late to sign up? I would like to play in FA3 if possible?

Has the 5 course been decided yet? i know in a previous comment there was still some uncertainty on a few. Also when will layout be released?

Shawn Conroy   June 30, 2022 at 2:56pm

The 5 courses are- Muddy Run, Kline's Run, Ship Rock, Roland Park, and Fairview. Layouts will be released soon.

Gary Daddario   July 2, 2022 at 2:35am

Any chance you know if Muddy will be golds or silvers?

Shawn Conroy   July 2, 2022 at 2:51am

All Golds except 3, 7, 12, and 13 which will be Silvers.

Larry Derby    June 25, 2022 at 10:07pm

Hey all, novice here. I haven't played these courses and not sure I'll be able to get out to preview them before the tournament.

Question, are all cart friendly or are there any you should really use a backpack? Any other tips anyone willing to offer up about the courses?

Thanks everyone. Looking forward to the challenge!

Shawn Conroy   June 25, 2022 at 11:51pm

All are pretty cart friendly in my opinion. There are a few places where you may have to lift and carry for a few feet but otherwise you should be golden.

Larry Derby   June 26, 2022 at 12:14am

Thanks!

Darren Abbott    June 21, 2022 at 1:10am

What happens if I'm the only junior? Can I play under the amateur novice division instead so I don't lose the opportunity to play?

Eric Hess   June 21, 2022 at 3:20am

You will be able to compete either way.

Darren Abbott   June 21, 2022 at 4:05pm

Ok, thanks!

Shawn Conroy    June 20, 2022 at 5:01pm

The Amateur Player's Packs will be fulfilled by Prodigy and include a Prodigy BP2V3 backpack, a custom stamped disc in their 500 Spectrum plastic, an insulated steel water bottle, an umbrella, and some smaller items (mini, pencil, sticker, etc)

Are caddy's allowed?

Shawn Conroy   June 13, 2022 at 8:27pm

yes, here's the PDGA rules for caddys

Corey Neel    June 12, 2022 at 9:57pm

Will the same divisions always be playing the same courses? So everyone in MPO will always do the same course each day?

Shawn Conroy   June 13, 2022 at 8:25pm

correct

Katara Vasher    June 12, 2022 at 9:15pm

Do we know which courses yet? And which divisions for which courses? Meaning will fa2 and ma3 be at the same courses?

Shawn Conroy   June 13, 2022 at 8:38am

With the current registration numbers, all players will be at the same course. That may change if we somehow "explode" with new sign ups but most likely those 2 divisions will remain together.

Dan Pinho    June 6, 2022 at 2:33am

will roland park be all 27 holes?

Shawn Conroy   June 6, 2022 at 3:37pm

Different layouts will be used for different divisions but all players will only play 18 holes at Roland Park

Dan Pinho   June 7, 2022 at 1:14am

ok coolio
