About this tournament
Innova Discs and Peoria Frisbee Club (PFC) are putting on a 1-day educational clinic for youth and their guardians. This is for you whether you are new or have been playing since you started walking! Review of the rules of our sport, learning sessions with our local pros, finishing with a 9-hole pop-up course one of Peoria’s favorite parks!
Running from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM for kids age 15 and younger! The first 30 registrants will receive 2 Innova discs, an Aviar putter and Mako3 midrange. All following players will receive the Mako3, but everyone will be eligible for prizes!
If you are unfamiliar with Mixed Junior (MJXX) or Female Junior (FJXX) divisions, a player who is less than or equal to the division age at any time in 2024 may register for that division. For example, Jane is turning 13 this year, so she may register for FJ12 because she was 12 for some portion of the year.
Since this is a youth event, each child must have a guardian present. If more than 36 players are present, Groups A and B will be made to take turns having a clinic and playing the course.
This is a loosely structured event meant to adapt to the kids interests. Adults may listen and learn, but let's leave the sport to the kids for today! Our hope is that the kids feel empowered to make the sport of disc golf their own and play it with the important people in their lives!
