I see the players meeting on Monday is at Miller Auditorium, is that where we check in earlier on Monday?

Andrew Sweeton   July 8, 2015 at 3:52pm

No, check-in is at Timber RIdge at 10am-6pm Sunday & 10am-3pm Monday

Brandon Redmond   July 17, 2015 at 2:07am

but the meeting is indeed at the auditorium correct?

Andrew Sweeton   July 17, 2015 at 2:13pm

Do the 10 year old girls have a semi final round Saturday AM at SPO?

On the schedule version 2.7 it says that 0 players are in the Semi Finals and 2 players are in the finals at Timber Ridge Saturday afternoon.

Does this mean that all girls play in the Semi finals at SPO and only 2 make the finals at TR? Or does this mean there is only a final round of 2 girls at Timber Ridge on Saturday afternoon and no semi final round Saturday AM, anywhere?

There must be at least 16 players in a division to have a semi finals, so they only have a Finals with 2 players. If there are no other divisions on the course they can use it for practice, but thye may be setting up the Finals course at that time, not sure.

Matt Lacey    July 8, 2015 at 8:38pm

For those playing Timber Ridge on Tuesday (AM Master main pool, AM GrandMaster main pool), any guesses as to how the tee times will be assigned? Looks like 8 AM - 2 PM start times, so a big window of difference. Just wondering how much time to set aside for practice on Monday versus how much to force in on the weekend. I've really only seen Coldbrook.

Pool E, then Pool G

Matt Lacey   July 9, 2015 at 10:10am

Thanks Andrew. I imagine it will be by player rating in some order, but I'm sure it's speculative to guess which way, this early on. I will prepare for an early start.

John Persson    July 8, 2015 at 2:49pm

Added Oskar #48786 and Erik #60951 Persson to the junior doubles about a week ago.
Can´t find them in the list of players? Anything else I need to do? Paid via Pay-Pal and got a confirmation letter from them.

They are in, I'll do a new upload in a bit, thanks.

OK, Thank you!

Rob McNeal    July 8, 2015 at 9:19am

I'm registered for the long drive contest but I am also playing the Vibram Birdie Bash Championships. I'm unsure how or if that will work with my round starting at noon at Cold Brook and the Field Events taking place at Timber Ridge from 11:00-4:00. Is there a time a will have to be there by to compete in the long drive?

Is national tour dress code in effect? Do I need collared shirts?

Checking the rule book would be the easiest way to be sure. The dress code applies to both NTs and Majors and may also be enforced by the TD at lower events. But Amateurs and Juniors are only required to wear collared shirts or dri-fit t-shirts in Semis or Finals.

Nate Upton   July 7, 2015 at 8:42pm

I'd find a collared shirt to be safe jon. Am or not.

jon blocksma   July 8, 2015 at 1:02am

Will plan for both. Thanks all, did not want to lose cuz I wore the wrong shirt. Lame story.

I was moved from the waitlist to the registration list on Friday, July 3. My availability has changed and cannot play the event. DGS says refunds are handled by the Pdga. Who do I contact to allow my spot to be given to the next person on the waitlist and receive a refund? Chris Kinsella # 21342, MG1

Andrew Sweeton   July 6, 2015 at 9:08am

Sorry you can't make it Chris, I'll take care of it.

Chris Kinsella   July 6, 2015 at 9:53am

Thank you, Andrew. BTW, what is in the player's pack or is that not released yet?

Andrew Sweeton   July 6, 2015 at 11:20am

sorry, no idea, that is handled by the Host team, not the PDGA.

Is the layout for Robert Morris course going to be 18 or 24?

Dave Davies   July 6, 2015 at 12:40am

RoMo only has 18 holes, it is Coldbrook that has 24

The switch from Spinski's to Oshtemo for MS1 semis is a big improvement! Thanks to whoever made that happen. Is it the Oshtemo longs or shorts and how many of the "S" pool make it into the semis.

As to the other question Wes asked...You will see on the July 3 schedule, all the fielded numbers and the projected semi-final and final numbers.

Larry LaBond   July 5, 2015 at 10:22pm

20

Fred Vocino   July 7, 2015 at 9:49am

20+ties - That could mean everyone who falls within 1st to 20th place; or, the 20 players with the best scores and those who are tied with the last best score.

What days will timber ridge be open for practice?

I do not have exact days for you but I know that it will only be open one week before and the week during AM Worlds.

Wow! Check out the strongest junior girls field for Am Worlds ever. <=19 has 4 of the 7 girls with 800+ ratings, the defending champion and the highest rated junior girl. <=16 has 5 of 8 with 800+ ratings, the defending champion, a returning champion plus three who were once <=13 girl champions. <=13 and <=10 numbers indicate some very interesting match-ups as well. Hi Andrew, I also registered for the Mixed Doubles but never found a female partner, so I am withdrawing from that event as well, just in case you needed a withdrawal and refund request for that event separately. There is always next year.

Hi Andrew, I, Bill Burbage #31053) need to withdraw from this Tournament. I am not going to be able to make it happen.
Please let me know if there is a more formal process to withdraw than this, and I will follow.

Am I able to have someonse else pick up my player pack for me ? I wont be getting there until Monday evening.

Andrew Sweeton   July 10, 2015 at 7:45am

No, we've had people steal them that way. If you aren't there to get your players pack they will be available in the Pro Shop starting on Tuesday for pickup.
