Orlando Disc Golf Glitch WC Qualifier
About this tournament
New for 2024! Introducing … the Glitch World Championship Qualifier! The 2024 Glitch World Championship Qualifier (GWCQ) series will be available worldwide for the entire month of June, and will include the opportunity for players to flex their Glitch game while getting their hands on some brand new hybrid discs from all three MVP brands. Every GWCQ MPO and FPO division winner will earn free entry into the 2024 Glitch World Championship to take place at the legendary Maple Hill Disc Golf Course in Massachusetts on Friday, Sept. 13th. The Glitch World Championship course layout at Maple Hill will be designed, once again, by Simon Lizotte!
Glitch World Championship Qualifier (GWCQ) details
- Entry fee for a GWCQ event is $20 (bring your own disc), $40 with player pack disc.
-CTPs included with entry.
-Layouts:
Am: Short to Short followed by Long to Short
Open: Long to Short followed by Long to Long
All players can participate in "final 9" as Short to Long, required for top 2 (plus ties) from each division.
- Players will have the opportunity to purchase Streamline Plasma Soft Parachutes (12 available on a first come first serve basis day of tournament)
- In all GWCQ events, players may ONLY use MVP Glitches, Axiom Pitches and Streamline Parachutes for their round. You can use any of these discs, from the player pack, your own or both.
- GWCQ events are NOT sanctioned events
- Each GWCQ MPO and FPO division winner will earn free entry into the Glitch World Championships at Maple Hill Disc Golf Course on Friday, Sept. 13th
- Player’s pack:
1 Plasma Soft Glitch from MVP
1 Plasma Soft Pitch from Axiom
There will be cash and prize payouts (Pro and Am respectively)
