About this tournament
2 rounds of play
Welcome to the first Olli Simonsen Invitational. Open by invitation only. Thank you for an amazing year and look forward to new and exciting plans for 2024.
Challenge:
Can you and your doubles partner shoot a lower score compare to Olli Simonsen playing singles.
Everyone will get two rounds of 18 holes and only the best score is the one that counts.
For example: If your team scores -14 and Olli scores -10, Olli has a second chance at beating you in round two and visa versa.
Entry Fee:
£20 per person entry fee covers green fees at Horsenden Hill Activity Centre and running the tournament. Must pay and register as a team.
Format: (PDGA B.05 b)
Modified Best Throw is the same as Best Throw, with the following variation: You are only allowed to use the same players drive if the tee two holes in a row. The team receives two penalty throws each time that limit is exceeded.

Course Layout:
Horsenden Hill Activity Centre Standard 18 with a few extra rules….
2) Mando on hole 2, play left of the large tree, line goes from large tree to large tree, if you miss re throw with a stroke penalty.
6) Mando on hole 6 to the right, if you miss, re throw with a stroke penalty.
10) Double Mando on hole 10, if you miss either mando proceed to the play from the right hand side of the second mando with one stroke penalty.
18) OB on hole 18 on the right hand side, OB line goes from tree to tree, making the ditch OB in most cases, if you land in the OB play with standard OB rules.
Scoring:
UDisc Live Scoring, easy peasy.
Having a UDisc account is mandatory in order to participate in this event. You can download the app and create an account for free.
Prizes:
£40 LDGC voucher per player that beats Olli.
Mystery prize goes to the lowest doubles scored round, regardless of beating Olli or not.
