I feel very badly for those who couldn’t attend for this special event that honors the service of those who sacrificed for our country. With that stated, it was an event that any vet would’ve been proud of though; we persisted and overcame the obstacles that were before us to pull off a successful operation (lots of miserable rain and cold weather didn’t stop us). To all that signed up and just couldn’t make it out due to the unsafe conditions, please take solace knowing that your contributions helped veterans today. And, your player packs is still here waiting for you.

I was headed down 97 from Bend, and had to turn around. We are having lots of snowfall and visibility isn’t good. I am so bummed. I really was excited for the tournament. I am a veteran, Go Army, and was looking forward to playing in an event for veterans.
I was stoked for the chance to hang out with some fellow vets as well, while supporting a good cause. Just had to do a little risk management this morning.. maybe next year!

Just drove from Springfield and had no problem. Roads were not icy at 7:30

Hey Jason, I won’t be coming. Just going to withdraw. We have snow here in Salem. Allan Adams and I will not be coming
Allan Adams January 12 at 2:37am
My wife (Kelsey adams) even if it doesn’t get canceled 50/50 if we would still go. Our fear being other drivers, as well as if things that worse while we’re up there. Idk.
We totally understand and will take care of any refunds or send back players packs with others you know; stay safe

So what’s the deal is this happening or not? I’m hearing now it’s about to get called off??
It's still happening; check your email and thanks for your concern.

Just wanted to give everyone a weather update for the Oakridge area and the tournament this Saturday. We are free and clear of snow (just some rain here and there); all the snow is staying about 1,000 ft. higher up in the mountains, which makes for some extraordinary views. So, if you heard there’s a blizzard here right now, not so much, that’s higher up the pass, which the plows are doing a great job clearing.

How's the weather down there?

If anyone in the Eugene/Springfield area (or on route to Oakridge from Eugene) would like a ride to this Saturday morning, I have room for one person. Preferably no carts. With the potential of snow Friday night and Saturday morning, I want to offer a spot to someone who may not feel comfortable driving in those conditions but still wants to attend the event. Will be leaving Eugene at 7:45am, first come first serve.
Hey Stephen! I live in Eugene, close to the fairgrounds, do you still have that spot available?
If I could get a refund I would gladly appreciate
