PLAYERS MEETING!!

Hello everyone and thank you for signing up for this year's Oak Town Throwdown!

This year we are doing a virtual players meeting for everyone to make things go a little smoother on tournament day.
All starting holes have been posted to the pdga so please make sure you know your starting hole because you will check in at tournament central and then head to your starting hole. Check in is from 7:15-7:50am, at which point you can pick up your players packs. We will be playing 2 rounds of 21 holes with a shotgun start time of 8:00am. Round 1 should be about 2-2.5 hours and then we will take a 1-hour lunch break once the last card is turned in. Second round will start approximately at 12:40 but that may be earlier or later depending on how long rounds take. I have attached your OB/MANDO list to this email for you to use as you need. Please remember that if you lose a disc you need to start a 3-minute timer as soon as you start looking to avoid any unnecessary backups. I will have a spotter on the holes that are needed to help with the flow of the rounds.

Please be very aware of your surroundings as we will have lots of soccer players/spectators flooding the park by 9am and it's going to get very packed. If there are any spectators on the fairways please make sure you let them know there is a disc golf tournament in progress and they need to be aware of flying discs, we will have signs out day of letting them know as well. Please be courteous!

The island on hole 1 is no longer in play instead we will have an OB line. Please see the updated OB/MANDO list.

YOUR HOLE NUMBER MAY HAVE CHANGED! Please see the updated holes on PDGA!

Some cards are mixed to be able to fill cards up, we are gonna have back ups all day so please be patient.

Please Park as close to the gazebo as possible so we avoid soccer families taking those spots. Get to the course early because parking is going to be rough.

All scoring will be done using PDGA live scoring. PDGA.COM/SCORE, PASSCODE: OAKTOWN.
Thank you all again for signing up for another year of Oak Town Throwdown!
