    7:00am - 8:30am

    Player Pack Pickup.

    Get your bag, 3 discs, card and hole assignment, snacks, schwag, etc.

    7:05am - 1:00pm

    CTP contest. Only registered players. We will run this all morning. We will have a checkoff sheet and you get one chance. Drop in before or after your round!

    Target will be 60 meters or so away and may have a mando.

    Must use one of your three provided disc. You get one throw.

    CTP gets a prize and each Ace gets a prize!

    7:05am - 1:00pm

    Putt Putt contest! Only registered players. We will run this all morning. We will have a checkoff sheet and you get one chance. Drop in before or after your round!

    3 putts from 10 meters (circle 1) - 1 point each made
    3 putts from 20 meters (circle 2) - 2 points each made
    3 putts from 30 meters - 3 points each made

    Total it up!

    8:30am - 8:50am

    * Players Meeting. *

    Pretty simple. Play the course with ONLY the three discs provided. Keep score. Follow mandos. 2 meter rule in effect (if your disc is in a tree over 2 meters, drop it straight down, add a stroke, and throw your next throw)

    9:00am - 1:00pm

    * Shotgun Start *

    Main event It is highly recommended that someone run the Udisc application on their phone to see tees and pins.

    1:30pm - 1:45pm

    Ring of fire contest! All players that want to participate will stand in a circle and putt on the count of three. Many peoples discs will collide and miss which is part of the fun! We will have a judge rule if someone throws early or late and makes a basket - so all is fair. If you make it in the basket, you play again until there is one winner. If no one wins, everyone starts again! Prizes.

About this tournament

One day, one round of 22 holes, shotgun start tournament of the MVP Circuit Challenge!

Each registrant gets a three disc player pack and those are the discs you MUST use. No other discs are allowed. We have player bags so just leave your discs and bag in your car. Take a look at the pictures for what discs will be provided.

note - if you use any disc other than the provided ones, you will be disqualified with no refund.

- 7:00 am Player Pack pickup (bag, discs, scorecards, schwag!)

- 7:05 am Putt Putt challenge opens through 1:00 pm
- 7:05 am CTP opens through 1:00 pm

- 8:30 am Players Meeting!

- 9:00 am shotgun start - One round for the main prize pack

- 1:30 pm Ring of fire !!

- 1:45 pm WINNERS announced
- 1:45 pm drawing completed but don't have to be present to win

- 2:00 pm optional 2nd seeded round. Small prize.

- Food MAY be available. Working the details
- Park has multiple city water spigots.

- Drawing for gear like Oak Grove merchandise, tie-dye discs, etc. Each player will get one ticket in their players pack. More will be available for purchase.

After registration opens, we will monitor sign ups and determine final divisions. We may ask players to change their division in the interest of the event. The goal in NOT to be a PDGA tier event, but an opportunity to try something new, make new friends, and introduce new players to a tournament format with little pressure.

Divisions (per the PDGA):

Advanced - the top amateur division, available to all amateur players. Required division for male amateur players under 40 years of age with ratings >= 935. Tournament experienced players who have played disc golf for several years, and developed consistency. Throw 300-450 feet, make 5-7/10 putts from 25-30 feet, have different shots in their arsenal.

Intermediate - available to amateur players of all ages with player ratings < 935. Developing players who have played 2-3 years with improved consistency and accuracy. Throw 250-350 feet, make 5-7/10 putts from 20 feet.

Novice – available to amateur players of all ages with player ratings < 850. For beginning and casual players who are learning basic disc golf skills. Throw 175-250 feet, make 3-5/10 putts from 20 feet, can throw backhand with some accuracy.

*** Please - DO NOT Sandbag - this is a fun tourney! You're getting at least 3 discs!

Refund policy

Full refunds are available up until registration closes, currently September 9th. After that date, refunds are at the discretion of the tourney director, but I hear he is pretty cool about this kind of stuff if you don't act like a dick.
