OMDGA Club Championship
About this tournament
The OMDGA Club Championship event is free, and only current OMDGA members can compete. Non-members are welcome to come and watch the event and join in on the fun, but they cannot compete in the Club Championship.
Bag Tags: All members must bring their 2024 bag tag. If you’ve lost your tag (and aren’t just trying to avoid losing your current number!), you can still participate and compete for the main prizes. However, you must be a registered OMDGA member as of September 2024 to compete. Tags will be redistributed based on final placements, but if you don’t bring a tag, you won’t receive one.
Championship Titles: We will crown both Men’s and Women’s OMDGA Champions, with each winner receiving the coveted “Giant Champion Bag Tag Trophy” and a free 2025 club membership.
Sign-In: Participants must sign in at the practice baskets at Seymour Smith Park by 10:00 AM. Late arrivals will NOT be allowed to compete.
Tournament Format:
Round 1: Stroke play with randomly drawn cards.
Round 2: Stroke play with card assignments based on Round 1 scores.
This is essentially a two-round tournament, so players' first and second rounds will be added together with the lowest total scores winning.
Food & Drink:
This will be a potluck event, so please bring a dish to share! Some food and drinks will also be provided.
Don’t miss this chance to compete for the title of OMDGA Club Champion!
