My wife and I played our first round at Gordon Barnett yesterday. It's an incredible park with water fountains, golf nets, basketball courts, soccer fields, a skate park, 2 excellent disc golf courses, and probably much more that I failed to list. We played the 2021 Trilogy Challenge layout, which was so much fun, but playing 27 holes was exhausting in the Florida humidity. The round took about 280 minutes to play. We played the 2021 Trilogy Challenge layout, which was so much fun, but playing 27 holes was exhausting in the Florida humidity. The round took about 280 minutes to play. Of course, there was the extra time from walking the fairways, looking for teepads and baskets, and a couple of water/bathroom breaks. Still, I think the layout could be more efficient if Northside 2 was played after Parkside 15 instead of Northside 1. I think the most efficient layout would be:
P1-8, P12-15, N2-9, N1, N13-16, N12, N17.
Anyway, this is just something to consider. I hope you all are doing well, and I'm excited for the challenge.
