In light of what is potentially dangerously hot weather this weekend I am adjusting the format of the event. We will now play one round per day shotgun start at 9 a.m. each day. Pool A will play Talon Blue to Longer (long baskets holes 1.3.8.16) on Saturday and Wing Gold to Blue on Sunday. Pool B will play Wing White to Blue on Saturday and Talon Blue to Short on Sunday. This should allow all players to be off the courses prior to the absolute worst of the daily heat.

I fully realize some folks will be unhappy with the change but considering the potential for heat indices well over 105 degrees in the mid-afternoon each day and the general lack of shade on the courses I feel player safety needs to be prioritized. These rounds will still be long and challenging. Begin taking steps to hydrate yourself now. If you show up improperly hydrated you will already have lost the battle regardless of how much water you consume on tournament day.

If this change is a deal breaker for you I will happily refund your entry fee until 8 pm Friday night.

$20 greens fee included in all entries. Amateur divisions will receive player's pack and are trophy only as regards payout.
