OCDGC presents 2024 MVP SpACE Race

The MVP Space Race is back! The Space Race is designed to be a nighttime ace race event featuring a two disc player pack from the industry leader in glow technology.

Okaloosa County Disc Golf Club is hosting a shotgun-start 2-Round unsanctioned ACE RACE tournament at Boggy Bayou DGC as part of MVP's 2024 Space Race event series; the second round is optional for all players.

There will be a short break after round 1 for provisional Ace Pot Throw-off, bathroom breaks and drink/snack restocks, then the optional round 2 will start! Players will keep the best score from both rounds if they choose to play the second round; players that pay into the side-pots and play the optional round 2 will be eligible for those winnings in round 2 as well.

Players will get 1 throw from each tee and will attempt to ACE that basket, score (see below) each player, then will move directly to the next hole's tee.

Scoring for each hole:
5 pts - ACE in the basket
3 pts - Hits chains, but does not stay in the basket
1 pt - Hits top, band, basket, or post (not chains)

Most points in each division of at least 3 players gets MVP Lab 2nd discs for payout.

Player packs will be ordered two weeks from the event based on the number of registrants at that time. NO DAY-OF SIGN-UPS!

You are only allowed to use the two MVP discs from the player's pack and, if players buy one, they may also use the Watermelon Pitches being sold separately for an additional $25. (If you already bought a Watermelon Pitch at a previous 2024 MVP Circuit event, you may use that as well - limit one per player)

Layout:
ALL Divisions: Red (short) tees
All tee locations will be reconfigured to be very close and ACE-able!
(Layout will be set no later than 48 hours prior to event start.)

Streamline Eclipse (Glow) Range ( 2 | 1 | -0.5 | 1 ) - BRAND NEW MOLD, 1st Release!
Axiom Watermelon Pitch ( 1 | 7 | -0.5 | 0 ) - ONLY available via MVP Circuit Events; NOT GLOW PLASTIC

Hole 1 Closest-to-Pin (CTP) - $5 (good for BOTH rounds!)
Ace Pot - $5 optional buy-in (good for BOTH rounds!)
Hole 14 Special Ace Bounty - $5 optional buy-in (good for BOTH rounds!)
One-Time Mulligan - $5 (Can only be used once during the entire tournament)
