Two rounds of not 18, but 19 holes at Boone Woods Disc Golf Course! Layout posted just below (subject to change). PDGA Sanctioned C-Tier. Check-in will start at 7:55 am and end at 8:55 am. Because the course is so compact, and to ensure everyone is clear about the temp hole, we will have an old school in person player's meeting at 8:45 am. Round One begins at 9 am. Expect an hour for lunch. Round Two should begin at or before 1 pm assuming all goes to plan. Anticipated ending between 4 pm and 5 pm. No days off at Boone Woods!

-Hole Temp A - Par 4 451 ft; Target green is surrounded by OB2, fairway surrounded by OB1. Players whose disc enters the OB2 area before coming to rest OB MUST proceed to mandatory Drop Zone with a one stroke penalty; all other throws, including throws made from the Drop Zone and target green, play as normal OB rules. Fairway OB will be painted and flagged white; the island green and the line marking OB2 will be painted blue; the island green itself will also have pink flags (they were out of blue flags at Home Depot, sorry gang)
-17: Hole A’s green is OB
-18 Long Tee, Short Pin: OB left over fence and where painted, OB long on and beyond pavement

PRIZING AND PAYOUT INFORMATION

-Pro payouts are top 40% of each division in the form of PayPal deposit

-Amateur divisions will receive a Z Plastic Raptor (MSRP $17.99) as well as a prize payout to the top 45% of each division in the form of merchandise vouchers

-Divisions with three or more registered participants at 8 am on Monday 5 August will have first place plaques available to winners. Divisions with two or fewer registered participants at that time will not have plaques made.

-Divisions with fewer than four participants may have players reallocated to other divisions, or be refunded in full, per CM 2.01L

-There is an optional $2 Round One CTP for Hole 4, which will be paid out during lunch. There is also an optional $3 Ace Fund. Multiple aces will split the Ace Fund. If no aces are hit, 50% will go toward Mt. Airy's Ace Fund on 22 September, and 50% will go to the Greater Cincinnati Disc Golf Association as a donation on behalf of the players.

-There will be a raffle at the end of the tournament to give away some free discs and other merch. No extra charge, just show up and play and remain on site at the end of the tournament and you’re in!

IMPORTANT NOTES AND NEW RULES FOR 2024

-The Tournament Director MUST strictly enforce the PDGA's new substance use policy including use of alcohol

-All players must keep score for all players on their card. If at any time you become unable to keep an electronic scorecard, contact the Tournament Director for a paper scorecard. Failure to turn in a completed and correct electronic or paper scorecard within 30 minutes of the completion of your round results in a two stroke penalty for the round.

-Please be respectful of the local neighbors and wildlife by not littering

-Pass Through Fees as specified by the PDGA are as follows: $2 PDGA Fee; $2 Tournament Director Fee; $100 greens fee divided evenly ($1.40 per player with max registration). All other funds are used for Professional and Amateur payouts.

-Before 14 days: Full refund

-Between 2 and 14 days of the event: Half refund OR you can choose instead to receive your player pack disc if you are an amateur

-Within 48 hours of the start of the event: Not entitled to a refund

Full refunds can be given in the case of extreme extenuating/emergency circumstances
