Mini Round Info
Elite Brothers is excited to announce that we have purchased 9 mini baskets! We will now be hosting mini-golf events at our upcoming tournaments! We will debut our first mini golf course at NM State Doubles Championships at Sipapu Ski and Summer resort Sept. 13-14.
We will be having a mini singles round, Friday afternoon, 4pm-6pm in Pro & Am divisions. Singles will be $5 a round and $5 for each additional round (you’re able to play as many rounds as you would like, your best score counts for payout). You will need to bring your own minis to play with for singles on Friday so make sure to bring some extra minis to play with. We will have a few loaners for people to use and we will also be selling a few of the glow minis that will be used Saturday if you don’t have a mini. Jr discs will not be allowed, minis only.
We will also be hosting a Mini State Doubles Championships glow-round; Saturday evening, flex start from 7pm-9pm, Bring Your Own Partner (playing best shot doubles). This round will be $10 per player, for your first round and your buy-in will include a glow-mini. Each additional round will cost $5 per player play as many as you want. Baskets will be lit up and black lights will be available at each tee box to charge your discs. Elite Brothers will also be providing a $50 ace pot for both rounds (if multiple are hit players will split the pot).
Just an FYI this will be a uDisc event, both rounds and the mini course layout are currently posted on uDisc on Sipapu’s page now (distances might not be 100% accurate). YOU WILL NEED A uDISC ACCOUNT TO PLAY; you do not need to have a paid membership, the account sign-up is free on the uDisc website. Please try and have the app downloaded and your account created prior to the event if you are planning to play. If you are having trouble reach out and we can try and assist. You will also need to register the day of the round via the uDisc events page (links included below). Normal course ob and PDGA rules apply, again no Jr discs will be allowed only minis can be used. These events will be open to everyone not just tournament players. Both rounds you will be able to create your own cards and will need 3-6 players for singles and 2-3 teams for dubs. Check in for both rounds will be at the picnic tables on 3s fairway(You can also check in and get your players pack for the actual tournament during Friday’s event from 4-6pm). If you have any additional questions or concerns please feel free to reach out to myself Kyle Goens or Jordan Wilkinson and be on the look out for more “mini” events coming soon.
