Are there a set tee times yet for tomorrow? Thanks!

Is there a map we can preview the holes? I won’t be able to make it to the course until an hour before tee off

I would just Google earth the course. That’s what I normally do.

Mychael Washam   March 5, 2021 at 9:53am

If you search the dynamic discs youtube they have a few rounds played at Jones West

Christina Wankum    March 4, 2021 at 5:47am

Will we chose our own cards or be put on one with people in our divisions?

Hi Justin, we where out playing the course today, and could not find the basket for hole #11...just a collar. And hole #14 only had a long basket...which had to be a par 4. Is this changing before the tournament? Thx!

It was posted on the Emporia Disc Golf facebook page that they were taking out a few baskets in order to reset the sleeve on a few holes in order to make sure its ready for Jones Gold during DDO, but they expected them to be put back in by Friday end of day... so hopefully theres no delays lol

Mychael Washam   March 4, 2021 at 5:11pm

Baskets are back in place

Will there be an in-person player's meeting or will it be virtual?

Justin Klumpe   March 3, 2021 at 6:22pm

I am trying to do a virtual meeting for Friday night. I have to figure out how to do it first..lol

Gabe LaBounty   March 3, 2021 at 7:56pm

lol, gotcha. Tech support is my day job, so let me know if you need any help!

Alex Bruschi   March 5, 2021 at 6:08pm

Hey Justin, I'm sure you already figured something out but I know a few TD's who have been using facebook live for player meetings. We just go to your page and open the stream. Seems to work pretty well.

Mychael Washam    March 1, 2021 at 4:47pm

The course layout reads as follows:
"Par 56, Only Par 4 is Hole #11

Hole1: Playing short tee.
Hole 6: Throwing from long tee pad on pond damn.
Hole 7: Throwing to basket on the right.
Hole 8: Throwing to basket in the middle of the trees.
Hole 10: Throwing to short basket.
Hole 11: Throwing to long basket, Par 4.
Hole 15: Throwing from long tee pad.
Hole 17: Throwing from short tee pad. Throwing to long basket, Par 4."

Question being is there two par 4's being 11 and 17 or is the hole 17 layout a typo? Thank you!

Justin Klumpe   March 3, 2021 at 6:19pm

No its not. The basket placement is in the long and short setting. We are playing the long basket.

Mychael Washam   March 4, 2021 at 12:04pm

So there is in fact two par 4's then? ok thank you

Tate McRell    February 24, 2021 at 7:52pm

Are we responsible for creating our own cards the day of the event? Or when will these be posted to look at Thanks

Justin Klumpe   March 3, 2021 at 6:20pm

You will use PDGA to do live scoring and Udisc as backup.

Mychael Washam   March 4, 2021 at 12:05pm

When will the cards and hole assignments be released?

Michael Sapenoff    February 23, 2021 at 6:19pm

Are caddies allowed?

Justin Klumpe   February 24, 2021 at 10:30am

Yes

Justin Klumpe   March 3, 2021 at 6:20pm

Yes, but follow the same covid and PDGA rules as players.

Justin Klumpe    January 31, 2021 at 11:03am

This year it will be the main layout as a par 59.

I will get course information updated today.

Justin Klumpe   February 23, 2021 at 11:33am

I updated the course information. Par is 55 and hole 11 is Par 4. Playing long tee pad on 15 and short tee pad on 17. Throwing to middle basket placement on #17.

Justin Klumpe   February 24, 2021 at 10:30am

I have updated the course information. I had someone go check the placement of some of the baskets.

Thomas Concepcion    January 20, 2021 at 11:32pm

What layout are we playing?

Mychael Washam   January 29, 2021 at 7:27pm

Curious as well. Are we playing "main" 59 par? I saw last year it was only of 54 though..

Justin Klumpe   February 23, 2021 at 11:34am

I have updated the course information. Par will be 55 and Hole 11 will be only Par 4.

Under the about section it says March 6th but also Friday. I'm taking that as a mis-type as it's a Saturday? Thanks you!

Do you have to have a certain rating to be able to play

Kyle Harrigan   December 21, 2020 at 7:27pm

You do not need to be a certain rating to play. All players who can be classified to play amateur per PDGA rules are eligible to play.

When does registration really open? Hard to think it'll be March 5, the day before the tournament.

Thank you for catching our error. It has been corrected. Registration opens tomorrow.
