A Pro golfer buddy of mine played the Frying Pan in Tracy this past w/e. Robert Bainbridge had a bad experience with the heat on Saturday and was going to w/d for Sunday, instead he took care of his body, and got prepared for Sunday, shot -11to win MP 50, Im sharing his FB post here.

It was a hot, 6 hr round of 27 holes on Saturday. The heat kicked my butt. Seriously contemplated not playing Sunday even though I had the lead. It just felt borderline unsafe (for me, on that particular day. Somedays you can handle it, other times it handles you). Put some thought into it Saturday ... more

My comment, if you are not sweating you probably need to drink more water. We will hve water battles stationed around the course, bring your own, be prepared

FYI:
Tri tip plates for $14 and chicken plates for $12 that will include slaw, beans and roll sodas and waters for a buck
I tasted the tri tip at Levi Memorial and it was bomb!, plus a health serving, probably enough for 2 people or Lunch and Dinner for 1.

please keep an eye on email for updates and a link to complete your registration, the reg window closes on Tuesday evening and we will not be adding any players after that, there will not be any day of registration, get er done, see you soon

As we get closer to this great day of DG at BNB I will be posting info here and send via email.
As of now MA1, MA40, 50 and MA18 (jrs) will be playing the front then back course.
MA2, 3 and FA1, 2 will be playing the back course first and finish on the front course.
The courses have been set-up for tournament play. Contact mark Brown at Browns and Bows for available reservations for camping and preplay, reservations during the week are usually available.

contact Mark brown via FB or their website. you can reserve a tee time during the week or there will be open play on Friday and Saturday. Check in at the Pro shop

Open all weekend, you bet. I think the bbq guy is still in. $10 for anyone coming out/hanging out. Camping is $40 for non-members, $30 for members. Up to two nights, 3 days.

Thanks to all of the players who have updated their registrations. if you are on the waitlist please keep an eye on your email for an opportunity to register, there were 2 more w/ds today. if you get promoted from waitlist you will receive an email with a link to complete your reg. After this w/e, when player packs are being mailed my way, you will be required to pay an 8$ fee to have your player pack selected item mailed to you direct.
Looking forward to seeing everyone in a couple of weeks.

we are getting close to a great day of Disc Golf at Browns and Bows. Reminders have bee sent out to players who have been added to reg list but have not uppdated their registrations. Check you emails.
