Tomorrow A.M. there should be !44 disc golfers at Browns and Bows Disc Golf Courses for an Innaugural NADGT event. I am hugely disappointed that this event will not be happening tomorrow. I look forward to seeing all of you at our rescheduled event on Sat, July 11th at Browns!

I am communicating regularly with Dave Feldberg, just got off the phone again, and we are working thru this. It is very fluid situation. Once i have more information we will be able to make better decisions re refunds.

As a TD I have always worked to help my players out in the best way possible, including full refunds when I can (19+ yrs as a td).

since PDGA has suspended their sanctioning, we are working on running the event as non sanctioned, stay tuned for more details

How does the PDGA's suspension of sanctioning events impact this event? Are you still going to run it if it isn't a sanctioned event?

In order to comply with CDC and POTUS recommendations we will change the format from shotgun start to tee times. (no group larger than 4somes, maybe some 5s) I will have them done in the next couple of days, and they will be posted here (DGS) and on PDGA website. Thanks for your patience and understanding. I am processing any WDs as soon as I receive them.

YES Charter Academy (Oregon House Ca.) is trying to put a disk golf course on our 10 acre campus for the kids to use during PE and recess and fundraising events. Gregg Barsby and his father John have helped us plot the course. Is it possible we could set up a booth at the tournament to let the Disk Golf community know what we are trying to do? We are looking for a few sponsors to help us purchase the course and install it for the next school year.

FYI, please check the updated reg list, there have been several withdrawals for various reasons. If someone in your division wds you will be promoted automatically and will receive an email regarding your updated registration. if there are none on the w/l in your division I use the date of your reg to promote the next player. Tell your friends who are on the waiting list for info.

Mark Brown,owner of Browns and Bows, is fully intending, along with myself and other tournament staff, to hold the tournament as scheduled. He will be providing all attendees a certified N95 facemask and pair of rubber gloves, we will also have hand sanitizer and hand soap widely available for all players and staff.

We have been keeping a close eye on the Coronavirus during these difficult times in our World. The NADGT will not be canceling our tour or any events. There may be an exception or two where a quarantined community may not allow public gatherings , in those few cases we will offer refunds based on the new PDGA policy and reschedule those events for later in the year.


99% of our events are less than a 100 players.
Our events are outdoors.

There may be an exception or two where a quarantined community may not allow public gatherings , in those few cases we will offer refunds based on the new PDGA policy and reschedule those events for later in the year.


99% of our events are less than a 100 players.
Our events are outdoors.
Our events are local B and C tiers events that don’t usually attract very many players from out of state.
Our qualifier events attract very low amounts of spectators.

New rules we will ask you to enforce on our tour while this pandemic is occurring , please make these announcements at the players meeting:


1. Players should not shake hands before and after there rounds. Verbal good lucks will do.
2. One player will keep score for the entire rounds , so there will be no passing of the scorecard.
3. We will highly recommend using PDGA lives scoring to get rid of scorecard use all together. (we dont have cell service at Browns and Bows so this is not an option for us)
4. We have encouraged our TD’s to have have sanitizer available at TD central , and near all bathroom and outhouses.
5. Players should not clear the basket for other players .
6. If you see a lost disc just report it to TD central and leave it behind.
7. Overall practice good hygiene , wash hands, and cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing.

As your TD I will do everything I can in terms of sign in, tournament central, players meetings and awards to be cautious, safe and have a great day of Disc Golf. any updates will be posted here.
