Loaded question, but with lightning storms in the forecast is there a tentative deadline for when this event would be a go or no-go? I would hate to drive in from the distances that people are just to have to turn around and drive home.

Do we know hole assignments and groupings yet for round 1?
Hey Clint, Hole assignments are currently posted on the pdga site for the event. https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/68219
Thanks Kevin, I see it now. Not sure how I missed that when I looked this morning.

The handbook says only "normal layout" with teepads will be used. Does that mean yellow tees in the handbook? I've never played the course to know what's "normal". Haha
Sorry, yes that will be the yellow Tees in the handbook. On Udisc it is labeled as "18 hole white"

If anyone has not received an email with the players handbook let me know and I will make sure to get it to you.

Has there been an email sent out or anything for this yet? I haven’t received anything & my buddy said he has. So just curious
Hi Laurie - Isaac did send out an email on Saturday. I'll double-check your email address and send you what he sent everyone the other day
I think many of these ended up in the Junk Mail.... so make sure you check your junk mail

What's with the non optional Park Fee in the registration? It says till until 12:00 AM on June 3. Wouldn't that end before the tournament? I don't really care about the $5, just curious what it is. Thanks!
Yes, Swift Current is charging to book the park and that falls under the pass-through costs for the PDGA. Isaac will also be arranging for a porta-potty which will come from those same costs.
Also, any money from those fees left over after coverung the city costs will go towards prizes like CTP/Longest Putt, etc

Will this be a one round or two round event on the Saturday?
This will be a 2 round event on Saturday. Should be done by 6. Schedule will be up before registration
Rain/lightning is currently only forecasted for the first hour of the tournament, so hopefully it won’t be a huge factor. Isaac will be following the PDGA’s guidelines on suspending play - https://www.pdga.com/rules/competition-manual/107 - to ensure the safety of competitors.
Every player (except for late registration players) is going to receive a towel and pair of socks in their players pack which might come in handy right away.
The weather network is forecasting "strong thunderstorms" from 1:00-9:00pm and that reduces to "thunderstorms" from 9:00-11:00pm.

There is a risk we may have to cancel during the second round, but we may finish before anything happens if it does. The forecast has changed a lot the last couple days and it could still change tomorrow. I definitely understand the concern but the event will start and hopefully still be a blast.
