Muldoon Spring Opener

Spring is here and we are ready for another great season.

Welcome to Muldoon Park home of the Pelham Disc Golf League.

Bill and Norma Bruce of Breakin Chains Disc Golf are the TDs for this event.

We would like to welcome you to the Muldoon Disc Golf Course. All disc golf players are welcome. This will be a PDGA B-Tier sanctioned Tournament.

Muldoon Park is a great course with some challenging holes. The town of Pelham Parks and Rec. Dept. headed by Brian Johnson, are always working with the league about the course and making new improvements. Alcohol and drugs are not allowed here so please observe the rules. This is a PDGA Sanctioned Event and we follow all PDGA rules.

Registration will start at 7:30 am and continue until 8:30am . You must check in before going to your hole assignment in case of late changes. Your player information will be emailed to you on Friday. Hole assignments will be posted at this time as well. First Round will begin at 9:00 am. There will be 2 rounds of 18 holes played by each player with a lunch break between rounds. Second round will begin 30 minutes after last card from 1st round comes in. You will proceed to your assigned hole and wait for the 2 minute warning, (2 short blasts from our air horn). As usual you can practice at your assigned hole until the 2 minute warning horn. At this time all practice warm up play must stop until the tournament begins.

We will be using live scoring for this tournament which should help move things right along. Your code for live scoring will be given to you in the player information E-mail.

The course will be in long basket positions and OBs will be in effect. Ob will be discussed in the player information E-mail and at the Players Meeting at 8:35 am.

All PDGA Rules will be enforced and it is the players responsibility to familiarize themselves with these rules. Payouts will follow PDGA guidelines.

LUNCH: You will be on your own to provide yourself with some lunch. As I mentioned lunch will go until 30 minutes after the last card comes in.

Don't forget to sign up for the Ace Pot and the CTP options if you want to be able to qualify for them. It is the Policy of Breakin Chains Disc Golf that any ACE hit on a CTP hole is considered the ultimate CTP and the player will not only receive the ACE $$ for the hole, they will get the CTP prize also. There will be a playoff for the Ace Pot if it is not hit during the tournament. The Tournament Director will decide on rules for the playoff.
