About this tournament
ABOUT:
Welcome to the Mt. Simon Park MVP Space Race 2023! Bring a flashlight this is a glow-in-the-dark event starting at sunset. Baskets will be lit as brightly as possible, and lit alternate short pads will be in place for most holes to increase the number of ace opportunities for all skill levels.
"FREEBIES":
Each player will get a players pack with two of the brightest special edition glow discs money can buy. A Total Eclipse Envy and a Total Eclipse Paradox.
RULES:
You will get two throws per hole and players earn one point for metal, three points for a chain hit and five points per ace. Most cumulative points wins! Paper scorecards and stupid little pencils will be provided upon arrival, record your points per hole, not strokes. You and your cardmates are responsible for documenting each other's points for each hole. You can use any two glow discs you'd like for your two throws.
PRIZES:
There will be a prize pack of 6 Lab 2nd(L2) MVP discs for first place, 4 L2 MVP discs for second place, and 2 L2 MVP discs for third place. Additionally, if you don't like the discs you received in the players pack, you can sell them for $20+ a piece after the tournament, MVP disc collectors are happy to pay for special edition glow discs on places like eBay, r/DiscExchange, and MVP Collectors Facebook Groups.
