I have never been to Old Mill DGC before. I was just reading the caddy book and it looks like there is some elevation to traverse mainly holes 7 and 8. This is just a quick glance of the hole descriptions. My wife is planning on being my caddy. Is the elevation going to be an issue? Is the course cart friendly?

As far as the Old Mill is concerned, it’s not very cart friendly; lots of elevated tee pads with steep grades going up to them. With that said, numerous people use carts out there, they just leave them below the steeper grades and grab the discs they might need; it’s doable.

Just wanted to let everyone know that Friday dubs at Circle Bar is a go! I’ll be setting up the course starting around 3:30 so that 5 PM dubs round can commence. See ya’ll out there.

Can singles still go out and practice the circle bar course starting around 5?

Thanks for letting me know, Scott.

Jason,

I am willing to spot $20 for the Friday dubs thing. I am going to be down there on Friday and the random dubs sounds rad.

Thank you for going above and beyond!!

Attention all Mountain Town Throwdowners!
It’s getting to be that time, only one week away from the big day. I’ll be sending out a players email within the next few days that will cover all tournament details (e.g. parking, caddie cards for each course, PDGA Live Scoring info, etc).
But for now, I’m just taking a poll to see who woukd interested in partaking in random flip dubs at the monumental Circle Bar DGC layout the Friday before the tournament, April 22nd. In order to ... more

I would like to know if I can rent a cart for the Circle Bar round? Will the course have them available. I am a bit hobbled at the moment.

Unfortunately, no, we talked about it at the last meeting and that was the decision they made; mostly due to lack of enough carts and logistics.

My girlfriend wants to sign up for her first event but wants to play FA1, which is full. She doesn’t have a discgolfscene account so wanted to know if she signs up for FA1 waitlist if she’ll be admitted, since there is so much space in FPO.

Unfortunately, all amateur player packs are spoken for, so the only space available is FPO. With that said, she could put herself on the waitlist and see how it shakes out between now and the tournament.

Christopher Loan   March 29, 2022 at 3:42pm

Hey Jason, thanks for getting back to me. I’ll pass this along and see what she wants to do

Jason Nehmer   March 30, 2022 at 12:59am

You’re welcome

Jason Demeter    March 17, 2022 at 11:55pm

Can I get switched from mp50 to mp40 please and thank you

As an out of towner, can I get some clarity on the Circle Bar course? I don't see anything on Udisc, is this a temp course or a new permanent installation?

Rey Rudek-Larson   March 8, 2022 at 2:39pm

Circle Bar is a temp course set up on the "circle bar golf course".
