Welcome to the 2025 Midwest Amateur Championship!

This is a True Amateur Event for all Amateur Divisions.

This is a Trophy/Players Pack Only for all Amateur Divisions. Trophy availability will be based on registration as of 3/1/25.

However, since this is an Amateur CHAMPIONSHIP, the MAC is adding a special payout to the top 20% of most of the amateur divisions in 2025. The following will be Trophy Only/Players Package Only divisions: MA3, MA4, FA3 and FA4.

For this 'True Amateur' event, only the top 20% of each division will receive payout via vouchers (gift certificates) for merchandise. Payout may be used with FlightPlan Disc Golf, UnderPar Apparel or Dynamic Discs KC/KCMO. Payout expires on 12/31/2025.

Payout may be used onsite with FlightPlan at Heritage Park after the Awards Ceremony on Sunday regardless of your vendor selection during registration. After Sunday, all payouts will go to the vendor you selected. Please allow up to 48 hours for your credit to be sent to the vendors.

As always, we will have an outstanding Players Package! Sign up by 3/1/25 to receive a tournament logo t-shirt!

For those who have too many discs or just want to save a few dollars, we have added an option to decline the player's pack. However, the option to decline will be turned off on March 1.

You will be playing 3 total rounds on a Tee Time Schedule.

The Shawnee Mission Park (SMP) course is currently going through a redesign. The courses and/or layouts may be adjusted by Pool closer to the event depending on the completion date.

ADDITIONAL EVENTS:

Putting contests and CTP games will be held at Heritage Park on Friday & Cedar Ridge on Saturday.

There will also be Flex Start tournaments at Heritage on Saturday (4/5) & SMP on Sunday (4/6) sponsored by UnderPar Promotions!

There are separate registration pages for the flex start events. These events are open to anyone, not just those registered for the MAC.

PDGA DIGITAL SCORECARD:

We will be using digital scorecards for this event. if you would like to review and research this method, please follow this link:

The access code will be given during check-in at the event.

To start your round with digital scoring you will need to go to the following link: www.pdga.com/score or use the PDGA Live mobile app.

1. You will be prompted to enter the Access Code and press the Submit button.
2. Search for your name. You can search by typing in part of your name or PDGA Number. Once your name appears, you select it and confirm. This person is now the “scorekeeper”.
3. You will be prompted to select the round for which you are currently playing.
4. The scoring screen will load with your name. The default starting hole is hole 1, so be sure to choose the correct starting hole if for some reason hole 1 is not where the group is starting (e.g. shotgun start).
5. Scores for each player will be automatically defaulted to whatever the par is for the hole that is being scored. The player can use the plus or minus buttons to add or remove strokes. When all players have the correct scores, clicking Save & Continue will upload the scores and the page will automatically reload on the hole that follows.
6. The teeing order is indicated by a number presented to the left of each player's name.

PDGA rules for 2025: Each player must keep an independent scorecard recording scores after each hole for the entire group. A player who refuses to keep score may be subject to disqualification.

FlightPlan Disc Golf is responsible for all refunds/cancelations. A withdrawal is not official unless the player submits the request via the official registration cancelation link.

Any cancellations prior to March 1st will receive a 100% cash refund (minus a $10 Handling Fee, the DGScene Fee, and any sponsorship items, if applicable)

Players who officially request to withdraw from an event from March 1st through March 27th will receive a 100% cash refund (minus a $10 handling fee, DGScene Fee, Selected Apparel Item and any additional purchased item (Fundraiser Disc, Tee Sponsorship, or other items if applicable) ONLY if their spot in the tournament is filled. If the player’s spot is NOT filled, the TD has the choice to provide EITHER a 50% cash refund OR just the basic player’s pack the player would have received if they had attended (minus the cost of shipping).

Any cancelations from March 28th until tee times are posted will receive a basic players package and anything additionally purchased if applicable. No cash refund after this date.

Any cancellations once tee times are posted and/or No Call No Shows forfeit 100% of their entry fee and will not receive any player's package or other merchandise.

All refund requests must be through DGScene or through the email confirmation you receive upon registration.

A spot is not considered taken unless that player comes off of a waitlist to replace someone's spot
