It’s time for the 2024 Memorial Championship presented by Discraft!
We’re super grateful you’re here and hope you have an amazing time! Keep reading for digital scoring instructions and other helpful event info. Attached to this email are your overhead course maps and rules sheets. Please save them on your phone or print them out and put them in your golf bag before you arrive.
Round 1 Tee Times will be posted no later than 10:30pm MST tonight and check-in will be at Vista del Camino (near Hole #1) tomorrow (Weds., 2/28) from 12pm – 5pm. Then check out the Fly Mart featuring a Discraft Prototype Kratos drop, Mace Man Glass and more! If you can’t make it for check-in then you can grab your players pack at the Scoring Tent after Round 1, Pros be sure to grab your beer and Lost & Found coupons!
AMATEURS: Your $100 Spinners Gift Card will be emailed to you tonight (check your spam folder ????), but all we need is your name to use it at Spinners! If you don’t use it all while you are here it can be redeemed online at SpinnersontheGreen.com after the tourney but be sure and use them as they do expire at the end of the year.
Once again Duke’s Sports Bar & Grill is buying all competitors a pint of beer from Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., don’t forget to tip your servers! ???? They will also be hosts of the Amateur Awards Ceremony and Putting Contest presented by Parked It Disc Golf on Saturday night at 7pm!
PDGA Digital Scoring is the official method for scorekeeping at the Memorial and if you haven’t downloaded the PDGA app now’s the time. Not only is it super easy to keep your digital score and lessens scoring errors, but there’s also a searchable Rule Book and Competition Manual in the app! Please familiarize yourself with using it since new for 2024 EVERYONE MUST KEEP SCORE. We will have paper scorecards available if requested and MUST be turned in at the Scoring Tent along with the submission of digital scorecards. Upon completion of your round, you must submit your PDGA Digital or paper scorecard right away. If you have any questions or need a ruling from your round, please ask at the Scoring Tent before finalizing. Once submitted your digital score is uploaded and tee times for the next round will be posted by 7pm.

Spinners on the Green will open at 8am Thursday thru Sunday, if you need to check the current Lost and Found list you can do that online here. The Lost and Found will be updated throughout the week and everyone will get a coupon for a FREE return when you check-in. If you find a disc with a name on it, you can turn it in for $4 store credit or just say "No Charge" and we'll get it back to the person for free! Please don’t park in the shopping center parking lot for your tournament rounds. If you are shopping at Spinners, we’d appreciate your moving before starting your tourney round. Use these links to Google Maps that show you where the parking lots for the park are. Please respect Spinners neighbors and park in the designated areas. Pro Tip The N 77th St parking lot off Roosevelt is between Hole #’s 6-7/12-13, which means you will cross your vehicle between twice in case you need something! You can also park across the street from Spinners, near the Eldorado skate park and there are fields to practice at there too. Here’s a great map from Fountain to show all the parking available there!

Water will be stationed around the courses and marked on the overhead maps. Vista; at the starters tent and between hole #’s 7, 8 & 12 | Fountain; starter and scoring tents as well as bottle filling stations found around the park.
