Impressive response Sam, well done

Ashley Akens   February 14 at 7:45pm

That was a pretty good explanation Sam. Thank you.

Sam Levenberg   February 15 at 5:00pm

Only making an educated guess by what I have read. Keith could probably expand on it. Just makes sense from a logic standpoint and what other TDs have expressed to me when I whined about getting off the waitlist.

Kristofer Jonson    February 5 at 4:48pm

If I withdraw today can I get a full refund?

Colin Romig   February 5 at 7:29pm

If someone is on the waitlist and takes ur spot

Jarred Neilson   February 6 at 2:15am

Read the pdga policy on refunds. I believe you will since there is no ma40 waitlist.. or call spinners on the green and ask.

Sean Baker    February 1 at 1:33am

When will you fill in the last 5 unsold open spots for those of us on the waitlist?

brandon reesor    February 1 at 1:05am

Why can’t the tournaments open up the 48 wait list spots.. there is plenty of room with the use of two courses?

Ashley Akens, if the other divisions don't fill, will you pull from the waitlist on other divisions? Specifically mp40+?

Ashley Akens   February 14 at 7:47pm

Yes. We did today.

Jarred Neilson   February 18 at 4:59pm

Ok thanks. I'll patiently wait and keep my fingers crossed on getting to play in this amazing event again.

Rober Schuler    January 29 at 2:41am

I would like to volunteer to be crowd control or course set-up or spotter. I am off Saturday and Sunday.

When will you fill in the last 3 unsold open spots for those of us on the waitlist?

Devin Proudfit    January 23 at 7:07pm

6th on the waitlist for MA1. What are my chances of getting in? Flying in from MT and trying to confirm travel plans.

Jeff Larson   January 23 at 7:51pm

Yes, I’m wondering the same for MP40. Sitting at number 5 on the waitlist. Hoping yo get in!

Ashley Akens   January 24 at 9:07pm

We can never tell how many folks might drop. I will say the bigger the division, the better your chances. Hope this helps.

Brian McGill    January 23 at 7:41am

Is there a military veteran discount or what would be the cost to play in the beginner/ amateur level?

Ashley Akens   January 23 at 5:40pm

We don't offer a discount for Military for the event. You can sign up through Disc Golf Scene. You must be a current PDGA Member. $175 for Amatuer Entry.

Sean Baker    January 23 at 3:43am

When is the latest someone can pull out and receive a full refund?

Ashley Akens   January 23 at 5:36pm

We follow the PDGA guidlines on that. If there is someone on the waitlist, then you can get a full refund until the close of registration. If there is not someone on the waitlist, 30 days. https://www.pdga.com/rules/competition-manual/103

Question about Saturday’s MA 60 rounds….on your site starting tee times are listed from 7 AM till 2:30 PM….will the later times be for the players that are placed higher (Lead and chase cards) or those that are placed lower?

Ashley Akens   January 19 at 7:32pm

Later tee times are the folks that are better in the event.

Jeff Sherfey    December 13 at 2:58pm

Any tent camping campgrounds ya know of in area?

Todd Mowen   December 13 at 3:42pm

Check out https://thedyrt.com for Dispersed camping - Bulldog Canyon Dispersed Camping - North Entrance is problaly the closest that is free. Free Permit. But it really istn that close. Paid option is McDowell Mountain Regional Park

Jeff Sherfey   December 13 at 6:04pm

Thanks a lot!

Tom Osterdahl   January 16 at 1:06am

It's approx: 15 minutes from Fountain Hills course and 45-50 minutes to Vista Del Camino.

Curtis Van Slyke    December 3 at 8:51pm

I may have a business owner looking to sponsor a hole or two…. From what you posted on the site it seems geared for sponsorship funds but also seems to be geared towards registering a player or players. In this case they’d potentially just like to advertise for the event…. Does pricing change? Who can we talk to about this?

Hello, question. I just registered today in MA40. I’m 49 and turning 50 in 2024, am I in the correct division?

Robert Cummings III   November 28 at 10:15am

Say June of 24 you turn 50 you can play in the 50s starting1/1/24

Jeffrey Wirth   November 28 at 3:43pm

Thanks for the information everyone! I’ll stay put in MA40 as the MA50 is waitlist only.

JB Bauersfeld   January 6 at 7:59pm

Also know, since you're over 40 you can still play in that 40+ division, even if you also qualify for the 50+ division.

Greg Pedersen    November 25 at 12:10pm

Looks like old dudes like to play disc. Maybe reserve more spots for them next year.

The REAL old dudes also like to play! 70+ like to have some spots.

Keith Murray   November 26 at 8:55pm

We did add more AND added MP70 but they are slacking ;)

Harvey Brandt   November 26 at 9:10pm

They are old and it takes a while to get moving. Even to wake up.

Dayna Merritt    November 24 at 3:41am

Sheila you are not signed up for SS anymore….I’m confused on when sign ups are?

Sheila Kirkham   November 24 at 3:08pm

I'm only going to Memorial. Thanks for looking out for me, Chica.

Ashley Akens   November 24 at 8:59pm

Shelly registration will open around 12/15 on DiscGolfScene.com!

Harvey Brandt   November 24 at 11:30pm

When is the Shelly Sharpe tourney? I don't see anything posted yet.

Dayna Merritt    November 21 at 1:23am

Is it going to be fixed with the mix up with the Shelly Sharpe link taking you to the Memorial page on DGS…people have posted about it but no response

Sheila Kirkham   November 21 at 11:32pm

????we're in, not our problem.

Keith Murray   November 22 at 5:46pm

Yeah was fixed that night, sorry for any confusion.

Katie Brewer    November 18 at 3:42am

Under registered players when you click on official current registration at PDGA.com it goes to a page for Shelly Sharpe Memorial. Is this the Memorial 2/29/24-3/3/24 or the Shelly Sharpe Memorial 01/19/24-01/21/24?

Brad Wylam   November 18 at 5:33pm

Not fixed. The players registered under this are signed up for both Shelley and the memorial for some reason on PDGA. Please get this fixed spinners!

Katy Westmoreland   November 19 at 2:49am

PDGA still shows me in both

Keith Murray   November 22 at 5:47pm

It got fixed on backend, sorry for the confusion.

Jon Noles    November 17 at 5:12pm

Where do we find more info about Event Partnerships that are referenced?

Ashley Akens   November 17 at 5:56pm

They are currently listed as the Flyer. Click on it, to make it easier to read.

Thomas West    November 14 at 3:23pm

Will there be any divisions below MA1 offered?

Ashley Akens   November 14 at 5:02pm
