About this tournament
The McVay Rock Open is a PDGA sanctioned C-Tier event that will be held at McVay Rock State Park and at Salmon Run golf course up the south bank of the Chetco River. With 34 holes of beautiful play (13 at McVay, 21 at Salmon Run) this tournament is going to be one of the best in the area.
Thanks to the generosity of the City of Brookings Tourism Board, there will be an additional $1500 in added cash and prizes. The player pool is limited to 60 so get signed up as soon as possible.
There will be the following guaranteed divisions:
Pro Open - $75
Pro Women - $65
Pro Masters - $65
Amateur Advanced - $55
Amateur Intermediate - $55
Amateur Women - $55
We will add additional divisions if we get at least four players in that division registered.
The schedule for the tournament day:
8:00 am - Players meeting
8:30 am - Start (late arrival results in penalty strokes being added to card
11:00 am - Travel to Salmon Run
11:20 am - Lunch
Noon - Start second round
4 pm - Awards ceremony and post round extras (CTP challenge, putting challenge, etc.)

Refund policy
Cancellations can be made in full up to 14 days prior to the tournament date (1/03/15). From 01/04/15 to 01/10/15, 50% of the registration will be refunded. After 01/11/15 there will be no refunds. Registrations can be transferred to another person up to one day before the event with written email to the tournament director Jef Hatch ([email redacted]).
