McCook Doubles
About this tournament
The McCook Doubles event is back! This year The McCook Doubles is supporting the Southwest Nebraska Family Resource Center. Disc Gauntlet and the Elpison Foundation worked with the SWNFRC for the McCook Open. We are happy to have another opportunity to support this wonderful nonprofit organization.
The McCook Doubles is a one round, BYOP best shot event. $10 from each individual ($20 per team) goes towards the Southwest Nebraska Family Resource Center. The rest of the entry fees go towards payouts and trophies (the REC division will play for TROPHIES ONLY!).
Check-in opens at 9:00am, with a player's meeting at 9:40am. We will look to tee off around 10:00am. Once the round of 18 is complete, we will meet back at the shelter and hand out payouts and awards.
There will be multiple CTP prizes and the option of an ace fund. You can pay for the ace fund through registration, or the day of the event. If no ace is hit, there will be a throw off for the ace fund. If no one hits an ace during the throw off, then half the ace pot goes to a CTP, and the other half goes to the Southwest Nebraska Family Resource Center. There will be trophies for the top three teams in each division. Payouts will be determined based upon the number of teams per division.
It wouldn't be a true doubles event in McCook if we didn't have a massive raffle! Each individual will receive one raffle ticket for registering for the event. You can buy raffle tickets through the registration process, or the day of the event. The cost for raffle tickets are:
$1 = 1 raffle ticket
$20 = 25 raffle tickets
