About this tournament
1 round of play
May The Course Be With You: Best-Disc Doubles.
A Save-the-Planet Scramble! Tee time is 10am only!
All ages and abilities are welcome. Divisions are based on the sum of the ages on tournament day. Entry fee is discounted for Juniors/Parent with young child teams. For the purpose of this tournament, 'Mixed' means one Woman and one Man. We are playing a best-disc format with teams of 2; 6 players per card. Plan on a leisurely round.
Play will be starting at 10 am. Everyone goes twice through the 9-hole course, starting each round on the same hole.
Players Pack includes your choice of one full-size StarWars disc and one event Mini marker. This is a BYOD event — Bring Your Own Discs. Play will follow PDGA rules, so a Mini must be used to mark the chosen team lie, and you must put a disc in the basket to successfully complete a hole.
Award system:
If 1-3 teams are in the division: 1st place award
If 4-6 teams are in the division: 1st and 2nd place awards
If 7 or more teams are in the division: Top 3 place awards
Awards beyond the above are at the discretion of the tournament director.
All scoring for this tournament will be on UDisc Events.
Tee-Shot-Only Team-Mulligans are available for $5 each (during online registration), with a limit of 2 per team. There will be no refunds for unused Mulligans.
Raffle tickets are also available 10 for $5.00 during online-registration only. Players may only win once.
#AcePot will be cash only, by player, during check-in on the day of the tournament. At the end of the day, the money will be divided by the total aces in the 18 holes played! If no aces during 18, the money will go to the Pathfinders Scholarship Fund.
Proceeds from this tournament will be divided between Audubon, Environmental Learning Centers of Connecticut and the Meriden YMCA Pathfinders Scholarship Fund.
