Remember, if you have Amateur payout, it is redeemable at the Maverick DG brick/mortar store at 600 E. Santa Fe St., Ste C, Olathe, KS 66061. If you can't make it in, let me know and I'll issue you a gift code to be used online at www.maverickdiscgolf.com. Only about 20% of the store's inventory is listed online, so you have a MUCH LARGER SELECTION in-store.

All Pros have been paid, mostly by a mailed check and a couple of Paypal payments. If you haven't received your check let me know.

Will there be a painted line on the ob 4 18 or are we supposed to try and use what's left of the fence?

Rob Martin   March 3, 2022 at 10:42pm

use what's left of the fence - If it's close, benefit goes to the player. If it's not close, than it's OB. There is a very small possibility OB lines will be painted, but I would not count on it.

We didn’t have access to mulch this year. And with the city moving brush out of the way, there’s a lot of fresh dirt and mud on the back part of the course. Please keep this in mind. If we get the forecasted storms, it will get sloppy. If you don’t mind the elements, bring it on Saturday. If you have an issue with your shoes getting dirty, please pass the baton onto the others on the waiting list. Hope to see you out there.

Thanks Ric. As info to players, we play rain or shine. If there is lightening we delay the play until 30 minutes after the last lightning reading.

Rob Martin   March 3, 2022 at 3:23pm

Referring to a player a couple of years ago, the TD is NOT responsible for your brand new shoes getting muddy. [facepalm]

Matthew Wilderson    March 2, 2022 at 6:59pm

There's thunderstorms in the forecast. How soon before the event will we know if the round(s) are cancelled?

Rob Martin   March 2, 2022 at 8:07pm

We play rain or shine. If there is active lightning within 5 miles we delay the round by 30 minutes from the last lightning. Please review the PDGA Rules regarding this:

Hey Rob, looks like I've made it to waitlist #1. If im still there come tournament morning is there potential for me to fill a no-show spot?

Rob Martin   March 2, 2022 at 3:16pm

yes, that is possible. I also think we will probably have someone withdraw before then.

Justin Farrell    March 1, 2022 at 3:23pm

Hey Rob, I'm considering signing up for the waitlist. Any chances you extend past 90?

Rob Martin   March 1, 2022 at 4:15pm

Zero chance we will go past 90. 90 is a hard cap.

Justin Farrell   March 1, 2022 at 4:19pm

Hmmm

Al McKellips    February 28, 2022 at 1:10am

Are the brush piles littered around the course going to be moved before the tournament or are they purposely placed obstacles?

They didn’t impact my game for what it’s worth.

Benjamin McKee   February 28, 2022 at 3:31am

Same

Rob Martin   March 1, 2022 at 4:15pm

The city said they will remove by Wednesday.

Kevin Rieger    February 22, 2022 at 2:19am

Are the baskets currently in the positions they will be in for the tournament?

I am going to go play on Sunday and can let you know where those holes are at. Last I was there about a month ago, those were both in the long positions... don't know how often they chance layouts there.

Rob Martin   February 25, 2022 at 3:24pm

thanks Jim

Benjamin Miller   February 25, 2022 at 5:40pm

thank you

Alex Banning    January 24, 2022 at 9:08pm

Is it realistic that I could get in while being #8 on the waitlist atm?

Rob Martin   January 24, 2022 at 9:25pm

It has happened before. I would give it a 25% chance of getting in.

Benjamin Miller    January 22, 2022 at 10:48pm

How does the waitlist work?

Will the 1st person get in no matter what division a person drops out of or is it the division that they are in has to have a person drop?

Rob Martin   January 23, 2022 at 12:41am

Any division that drops out, the next one is in, for any division.

Benjamin Miller   January 23, 2022 at 1:23pm

awesome thank you
