DIVISIONS / DATES:



Everyone is playing one round on Saturday September 9th at Prairie Center and one round on Sunday September 10th at Lakeside Hills. Tee times for Saturday at Prairie Center have been posted:

LATE WITHDRAWAL / NO-SHOW



At this point, it is too late to receive a refund. However, if you notify me at 785-764-2229 prior to tee time you will still receive your player pack if you are an Am. No call, no show forfeits your player pack and entry fee.



To cancel, text or call your name and division, with comment you are canceling to 785-764-2229.



PARKING -

There is a lot going on at the park the day of our event. Please be mindful of using only one parking spot.



RESTROOMS



At Prairie Center, there are restrooms at Hole 18 & 1. At Lakeside Hills there is a portable restroom at Hole 1 & 9.



CHECK-IN



Check-in with the TD 15 minutes before your tee time.





SCORING



We will be using the PDGA digital scoring system. (This is not Udisc). To access it, go to pdga.com/score. Enter in the password, then your last name or PDGA number, and the card will pull up. ThereI will be paper scorecards as a backup. You can also use udisc as a backup. However, to submit the scores, it needs to be done through the PDGA scoring system.

COURSE CONDITIONS



There are no known adverse conditions on either course.



WATER


While there will be water coolers on the course I fully expect they will go dry at some point. They will be refilled as soon as possible, but you need to be prepared to bring enough water for yourself. Enough water is measured in gallons. Bring gallons of water with you. The water on the course is a back-up. If you are filling up your water bottles before your round, you are not planning ahead well enough.


IF YOU NEED TO WITHDRAW


If you decide for any reason that you won’t or can’t play the second round, please tell Tournament Director. This is crucial as it will affect others on how the second round is organized. Text Rob at 785-764-2229.





AMATEUR PLAYER PACKS



Ams will receive an Innova tournament stamped disc and an Innova stool. All amateurs will need to pick up their player pack at the shop. They will not be taken to the course. The shop is in Olathe and relatively close to the courses. The shop is located at:

ROUND 2



Round 2 tee times will be posted at the same PDGA event page link provided above and directly below. I will try to have them posted as soon as possible Saturday but definitely before 7pm. The time frame will be similar to Saturday’s tee windows.

ROUND PRIZES



Round 1 - If you have the Hot Round (lowest score) for your whole DIVISION, there is a Hot Round mini that you can pick up on Day 2. You may say it’s only a mini, but the only way you can get one is by having the hot round. It’s a pride thing. (Fine Print - must have 2 people in the division to have a Hot Round. If there is a tie, a judgement call will be made to either award all ties a mini if the division is large, the first hole that was won - i.e. skins - will be awarded if the division is small.)



Round 2 - There will be a Win your card, Win a prize that can be collected when your card finishes round 2.



ACE / CTP FUND



Because this is a tee time event, there is not an ace fund.



AWARDS / PAYOUTS



To decrease the amount of congregation we will not have a formal awards ceremony. I will give the award as soon as the last card for that division has completed. There is a First Place canvas print for all divisions. MA2 and MA3 also have a Second Place trophy.







PRO PAYOUTS can be either a check picked up from me onsite, check mailed to you, or PayPal Goods and Services (winner pays fees) based on what you chose during registration.


AM PAYOUTS are redeemable at the shop in Olathe, or if you proactively request it from me, an online code to be used at our website. Online codes will not cover shipping.


PDGA POSTING



My goal is to have the 'official' results posted to the PDGA by Sunday evening so that they are counted in next week’s rating update.

Parking is starting to be a problem at Lakeside. Consider car pooling if it's not too late. Give yourself extra time to park far away and walk to hole 1. See map under pictures for pla es to park.

Payouts have been posted. As explained in the About Section, $750 added cash to Pro Divisions, Amateur player packs equal 130% of net entry fees. Added Voucher credit to the MA1 / MA40 / MA50 / MA60 divisions to raise 'Net Fee Payout' for these divisions to 150%.

Preview for the 2023 Maverick Disc Golf Championship presented by Innova

Here is some pre-tournament information for our fall B-Tier tournament.

This is a two round total, one round per day, on Saturday and Sunday, September 9th and 10th. Both rounds will be on tee times. First round will be at Prairie Center, Olathe, KS. Second round will be at Lakeside Hills, Olathe, KS.

There will be $750 added cash to Pro Divisions. All amateurs will receive a tournament stamped Innova disc along with a second surprise item valued at $40. This is a “True Amateur” event meaning the player pack exceeds the net entry fee. However, there will also be added merchandise voucher for the following divisions: MA1 / FA1 / MA40 / FA40 / MA50 / MA60. Full amount is to be determined.

The trophies for this event are professionally printed 8” square canvases. They look really sharp! All divisions will have a First Place trophy. MA2 and MA3 will also have a Second Place trophy.
