THANK YOU TO OUR VOLUNTEERS:
Thank you to Phil Zemler and Mark Schmitz for their work at Lakeside Hills!
DIVISIONS / DATES:
Everyone is playing two rounds on Saturday, July 1st on a shotgun start. Round one hole assignments will be posted at the link below by 6pm. HOWEVER - Please recheck your hole assignments after you check in Saturday morning to make sure they did not change.
https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/66589
Round two shotgun start time and hole assignments will be posted at the same link.
>> As a reminder - you still need to check in with the Course Director from 8 - 8:30 Saturday morning.
LATE WITHDRAWAL / NO-SHOW
At this point, it is too late to receive a refund. However, if you notify me at 785-764-2229 prior to tee time, you will still receive your player pack for an Am.
To cancel, text or call your name and division, with comment you are canceling to 785-764-2229.
PARKING -
There are three different parking lots you can use. One is near Hole 1 where Tournament Central will be. The second is just west on the road across from Basket 6, and the third is directly across from Hole 17.
RESTROOMS
Their are portable restrooms at the course and a public restroom at the marina.
CHECK-IN
Check-in is from 8am - 8:30 am at the parking lot near Hole 1. All players, Pro and Am, need to check in. If you don’t check in, I will presume you are a No Call, No Show and you may be scratched from the event.
SCORING
We will be using the PDGA digital scoring system. (This is not Udisc). To access it, go to pdga.com/score. Enter in the password, then your last name or PDGA number, and the card will pull up. I will have paper scorecards as a backup. You can also use udisc as a backup. However, to submit the scores, it needs to be done through the PDGA scoring system.

CADDY BOOK
Hole lengths, pars, and OB rules are listed in the PDGA app while you are keeping score. You can also go to this link to find each course set up here:
BIRDLAND BEBOP COURSE RULES
If you are using uDiscs as a backup scoring, the layout is titled ‘Yellow Baskets Only’. However, the OFFICIAL scoring is done in the PDGA app.
COURSE CONDITIONS
Lakeside Hills is not cart friendly. There is significant elevation to push a cart up and down.
AMATEUR PLAYER PACKS
Ams will receive a stock stamped Clash Disc.
Clash choices, all in Steady plastic:
Butter
Popcorn
Fudge
Mint
Berry
Mango
Soda
Cookie
Ginger
Wild Honey
Salt
Pepper
You can research them here:

WATER
While there will be water coolers on the course I fully expect they will go dry at some point. They will be refilled as soon as possible, but you need to be prepared to bring enough water for yourself for both rounds. The amount of water you bring should be measured in GALLONS. The water on the course is a back-up.
BONUS PRIZES
ROUND ONE PRIZE: If you have the Hot Round of your whole division (not your card, but the whole division) you will get a Hot Round mini. They are not much, only a mini, but the only way you can get one is by having the Hot Round, so it’s kind of cool.
ROUND TWO PRIZE: If you win your card, you win a prize from the white prize box that is called the Toy Box. Typical items are sticker sheets, can coolers, license plate frames, etc.
LUNCH BREAK / ROUND 2
We will have an approximately 1 hour lunch break after the last card is completed before starting round 2. Round 2 tee time and hole assignments will be posted here:
https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/66589
IF YOU NEED TO WITHDRAW
If you decide for any reason that you don’t or can’t play the second round, please tell the TD onsite. This is crucial as it will affect others on how the second round is organized.
ACE / CTP FUND
If you paid into the ace fund during registration you are included in this. If you didn’t, you can sign up when you check in if you want to. It costs $5. If neither applies, skip to next section.
Thank you for participating into the Ace Fund. With all Maverick DG events, the Ace fund is paid out as large ticket items and not as cash. This is one of the ways MavDG is ‘maverick’ and it helps to pay for tournament expenses. I determine the payout items so that what is given out is at least 150% of what was paid in so both the winner and the tournament benefits.
PRIZES:
Dynamic Discs Combat Ranger bag (MSRP $190) Axiom Pro Baset (MSRP $180)
Please note: If there is a tie for first place in your division, we may start the CTP game before your playoff is done. If you super duper rather play the CTP game than for the First Place Trophy, you can always forfeit the playoff. I would ask you though - why are you playing in a tournament if not to win the prize of First Place?
For the full rules on how the Ace fund works, you can go here:

AWARDS / PAYOUTS
To decrease the amount of congregation we will not have a formal awards ceremony. Trophies will be given out as soon as the clear winner is determined after the second round. PRO PAYOUTS can be either a check picked up at the shop, a check mailed to you, or PayPal Goods and Services (winner pays fees) based on what you chose during registration. AM PAYOUTS are redeemable at Maverick Disc Golf in Olathe, KS. If you proactively request one, you can also redeem it at our webstore maverickdiscgolf.com. If you choose the webstore, it will charge you sales tax and shipping.
TROPHIES
There is a First Place trophy for all divisions that pre-registered. There is 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for Recreational
PDGA POSTING
My goal is to have the 'official' results posted to the PDGA by Monday evening.
