After some consideration, we will be extending the opportunity to all regions to choose the location for play-in, 1st, and 2nd round matches. If an agreement cannot be reached, the default course will be what is listed on the bracket.
Players can also agree on what tees to use, if no agreement can be reached, the longest tees will be used.
Regional finals will be played on the longest layout at the courses indicated on the bracket.

So just to be clear, there may be additional people added which would mean we wouldn't necessarily be playing the opponent curently listed? Just making sure I'm understanding you correctly.

Is it okay if we do Warwick Blues-Blues instead of Silver-Silver? I feel like the matches will be more interesting if we do Blues-Blues (Less pushes on the holes). Thanks!

I have some contingency plans to shift a region to New England, Toronto, and/or another Metro if the current regions don't fill. If an area is nearly full, the top seeds will receive buys.

Yes, I'll take tournament history into account as well if someone's rating is based on a small number of rounds.

Check the attached picture, or watch the pinned video. Each division will play courses within that region. Father you advance the greater the chance you will have to travel farther.

Players will have 1 month to arrange and play each round. 1st round May, if you win play 2nd round in June, etc.

Once the registration fills, I will be seeding the players, much like your NCAA bracket, 1 vs 8 and so on

What kind of time frame are we looking at, besides starting in May and having the finals in the Fall? Do opponents have to work out when they’re available to play each match within a certain period?

Yes. Opponents will have one month to play that round's matchup. First round in May, and if you win play second round opponent in June, etc.

Hey Dylan, I see the 8 districts but don't see the 4 regions identified. What are the 4 regions?

By the graphic on the "about" disc golf scene page, it gives the payouts for the top 16 players.

The 4 regions are Great Lakes, Finger Lakes, Catskills, and Metro. Take a look at the pictures, they give a pretty good idea of all the locations, and payout information.

That is the plan. One week of ratings based tiered registration for NY residents, then open to all afterwards.
