Masters Melee at Tjader Acres

Just a few basic things to make sure you're ready for the event.

-Access code for PDGA scoring: masters -If you are unable to attend, please let me know immediately via text at 612-850-8795. PDGA rules for withdraws are on their website and linked on Disc Golf Scene. 

-I will be set up from roughly 8:00-9:00am if you have any questions or need any discs. There will be a short player meeting at 9:10am. Please attend this meeting.

Just a few basic things to make sure you're ready for the event.

-I will be set up from roughly 8:00-9:00am if you have any questions or need any discs. There will be a short player meeting at 9:10am. Please attend this meeting. 

-Make SURE you are at the correct hole by 9:28am for the two-minute warning. My events start ON TIME. If for some reason you do not hear my two-minute warning or starting announcements, please just go by the time on your phones. 

-Your starting holes for round one are posted at https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/81135 now, but please be sure to check again before going out to your holes. Last minute drops/adds could potentially change something. 

-We will be using PDGA Digital Scorecard for this event. Simply go to pdga.com/score or download the PDGA Live app. If you are unfamiliar with this, feel free to look at the brief tutorial on the PDGA website at https://www.pdga.com/apps/tournament/score/help. But don't stress. It is fantastic and super easy to use. Just go to either option and type in our access code: masters -Be sure to CONFIRM each player's round at the end of the round. This is very important. 

-We will be playing a different layout for each round:
Round 1 (18 holes): 1a-9a (putt-putt course), Main course 1-7, 20, 21
Round 2 (20 holes): Main course 8-12, A-F, 13-21

OB are listed below. All of this information is also listed in the PDGA Digital Scoreboard and on DGS.
-1a and 2a - Across fence
-9a - Beyond while line behind basket (driveway)
-3, 4, 5, 11, 12 and F - Across fence-A and B - Road
-13 - Missed Island
-For holes 11 and 13, if you miss your tee shot there will be a drop zone. For any subsequent shots that are OB, or any OB on other holes, play from where the disc was last in bounds. 
-You may take up to 2 meters of relief from the fence mentioned above. 

-This event is on the private land and course of Jon Tjader. Please show the utmost respect for Jon, his family, and the property. Let's leave Tjader Acres better than we found it!

-Tjader Acres Disc Golf Course is easy to find on Google Maps or any GPS. If you've never been, please note the driveway is directly off WI-70, so pay attention as you are approaching. DO NOT park on the highway. When you arrive please pull all the way in, turn around, and then park along either side of the driveway. This will make it much easier to exit.

-Many of you already purchased lunch through Disc Golf Scene. If you did not purchase lunch, please plan accordingly as I do not know how much extra will be made or available.

-There will be an optional $5 ace pool available for sign up in the morning. Cash, PayPal, or Venmo are accepted. If no one hits the ace pool it will be split between Tjader Acres (since Jon is already waiving greens fees for the day) and the prize pool.

-Second round will start exactly one hour from when the last card is finalized. This time and your second round starting holes will be posted on the PDGA results page, as well as on PDGA Live app and pdga.com/score.  

-Payouts for open divisions are available in cash at the end of the day OR via PayPal. If you choose PayPal, please contact me after you leave to provide the necessary information. Payouts for AMs will be available onsite at the end of the day. You may redeem funny money or save it until another one of my events (Maiden Shade Open, CCO, etc.). Please note, if you save it for CCO it can only be used on CCO items, not with the other vendors that are there. Let me know if you have any questions.

Player email will be coming out later tonight. Be sure to come to the short player meeting at 9:10 and check groupings again before you go to your holes. Any late additions could influence groups.

Course is cart friendly but you’ll want to just carry your putters or bag for the putt putt stretch of the tourney.
