How does all of the seasonal water play during the tournament? Most of the fairways are currently lined with 2-3 inch deep ponds (as befitting a Mudfest) that one could theoretically throw from, but I'm not sure how the rulings work for things like this. Mar 13, 2024

The PDGA Rules apply. In or over the River is OB. Casual water us not. The holes where the river is OB are 13 - 15, and 20. The water under the bridge and the pond to the right on hole 22 and the nasty water on the left of hole 21 are being evaluated. We will address all of this when we send out the players meeting info. Great question, thank you!

Played a practice round the other day and noticed that most of these holes do not have short tees. Will MA3/4 only be playing short tees on the holes that have them? Mar 11, 2024
John Minicuci Mar 11, 2024Yes. Holes 5, 6, 7, 8, 15, 19, 25, and 26. There is no pad on 25 but we chalk a line on the gravel path at the tee sign.
Adam Bazzell Mar 11, 2024Okay great! Looking forward to it!

Just curious, since 25 doesn't have a true short pad (there's just an uprooted post at the bottom of the hill that is around where UDisc says the short pad is), will MA3/4 just be teeing off from somewhere in that general vicinity, or will be playing from the long? Mar 8, 2024
John Minicuci Mar 8, 2024We typically paint a line on the path near the post and have flags on both sides of the line defining the tee area. Great question, thank you!.
