About this tournament
3 rounds of play
Welcome to the 7th Madness Disc Golf Tournament, MADNESS VII presented by Innova Discs and driven by Millennium.
This year the Madness will be held at Sunset Park in Las Vegas. The event has been moved from the North Las Vegas Municipal Golf course, due to the construction impacting the course and the parking area. With that in mind, we decided to move to Sunset, and prepare a layout that will challenge all skill levels.
This will be a 2-day event, with players playing two rounds on Saturday, and one round on Sunday in the old-school disc golf tradition. Rounds will be shotgun start with the first round starting at 9 am on Saturday.
Players will play a modified 18 hole course at Sunset Park that will include a couple of never-before-seen holes, as well as some old classics from the Gentlemen's Club Challenge. These are holes that haven't been seen since the 2015 pro weekend. The layout will be finalized and posted here by March 21, 2025. Pin positions and temp tees will be marked the week before the event and baskets will be in place to practice the temp layout Friday morning March 28th, if not sooner.
We will have two layouts to the course which will be divisions and ratings appropriate.
Pool A will be MPO, MP40, MP50, MA1. This pool will play from the long tees.
Pool B will be all other divisions. This pool will play from the short tees, but don't be deceived. As of now, the shorts are coming in at about 8500'. An average of 447' per hole. The layouts will be fun, challenging, but will have birdie-able holes for all divisions.
PDGA.com Live scoring will be the official method for scorekeeping for the event. All players must keep score during the round.
If a playoff is needed for any division, the playoff holes will be 18, 12, 13, 14 (Long or short by division) and 17 on a loop until a winner is determined.
Let's get ready for some Madness!!
(Tournament Director reserves the right to reclassify players to the closest available division if minimum entry caps are not met.)
Total Pass-Through fees at 90 players will be $7, which include PDGA C-Tier fees and Park and Course rental.
