About this tournament
2 rounds of play
This is a 1 Day 2 round C-tier at the Camp Maiden Rock West in Morristown, MN. This is a 21 hole course.
Division sizes may be adjusted to fit registration demands.
There is an Optional $2 ace pool that can be selected when you sign up. This will be a singular ace pool even if divisions are playing different layouts. If no ace is hit by a player signed up for the ace pool then the ace pool will carry over to the next event. If there is any ace pool after the final event of the year then the ace pool will be added into the Amateur Season Points Series payouts.
There is also an optional $7 lunch. Please sign up for the lunch when you register so that we can get a good estimation on numbers. The planned lunch will consist of sloppy joes, baked beans, Watermelon, chips, and Water or fruit punch.
Layout:
MA3, MA4, and all Female divisions will play the short tees. Everyone else will play the long tees. Everyone will play to the main baskets. Course Tee signs can be viewed here: https://customcoursemaps.com/maiden-shade-signage/
Tournament Payouts will be available on site or at Gray Duck Disc Golf and will expire on 12/31/23. Amateur divisions will be paid in merchandise credit, and Pro division will be paid cash or through PayPal.

$2 - PDGA
$1 - Sanctioning/Insurance
$5 - Greens Fee
$1 (am only) - Season Series Payouts
This tournament is part of the Gray Duck Tour Series and includes series payouts for at the end of the season for all AM Divisions. Here is the structure:
$1 of every AM entry goes to season payouts for the division that the player played in.
Event Points Calculation:
1st = 100 + (0.1 x players in division)
Everyone Else = 100 - ((place-1) * 30) / players in division
Total Season Points will be equal to the Top 7 events for each player in a division.
After the final event of the year the Prize pool value for each division will be equal to the total number of players that played in that division for each event combined.
The top 15% of each division's season points leaders will be paid out based on the payout calculator found here: https://texasarmytrail.com/payout.aspx using the Payout to Lower Finishers set to +5.

Refund policy
Withdrawals and Refunds will follow the policies outlined in the PDGA Competition Manual, found at https://www.pdga.com/rules/competition-manual/103
A $5 handling fee will be deducted from withdrawals/refunds.
The $5 waitlist fee is non-refundable, but will be credited toward the full entry fee if you make it in off the waitlist.
