Player Pack will be 3 discs from MVP and Discraft, Made in Michigan and thrown by some of the best in the world!
MVP Electron Nomad- (2,3,0,1) The Nomad is the first disc in the (2021 World Champion) James Conrad line. This putter has a small bead to provide additional longevity. Proving to have a neutral flight on drives and a stable to overstable flight while putting. Allowing for a go-to putter that can handle power on the drives and spin on the putts.
Discraft FLX Cryztal Sparkle Buzzz(- (5,4,-1,1) The Buzzz (3 z’s) is one of the most popular midrange discs in the world. This consistent, reliable, and stable disc will perform exactly how you want it to. With powerful throws the Buzzz will hold any line you put on it. With lighter, level throws it will fade slightly.
—OR—
MVP Special Edition Uplink 5/5/-3/0.5 Understable Midrange
Players will also get-
Discraft Z Avenger SS (10,5,-3,1) The Avenger was a popular Discraft mold, so why not produce it in a Super Straight version? That’s exactly what Discraft did, and the Avenger SS has become more popular than the mold that inspired it. The Discraft Avenger SS is the perfect disc for intermediate players who want more distance with their backhand throws. This understable disc is fast, but doesn’t require so much speed that it prematurely fades before achieving max distance. Watch this disc turn, glide, and go farther than any other driver in your bag.
--OR--
Discraft Z Undertaker (9,5,-1,2) The Discraft Undertaker is a moderately overstable driver released in the summer of 2016. This disc offers some turn in flight but will finish with a manageable fade. The Undertaker will take on headwinds and offer a flight that can be utilized for both backhand and forehand throws.
Players will use these three discs and if you lose a disc, you must continue on with only 2! If you lose all your discs, you'll have to drop out!
It will be up to you and your cardmates to make sure you are only using the three discs you started with!
We'll be playing 1 round of 18, Singles format.
If first place in either division is tied after 18 holes, we'll go to sudden death on holes 13 and 14 until we have a winner!
Player meeting at 10am behind Band Shell will cover Mandatory routes in play, and Out-of-bounds rules.
Out-of-Bounds is defined as the OB area (Such as a road, or water) COMPLETELY surrounding your disc, as agreed upon by your cardmates. If a disc is found to be OB, move it 1 meter back inbounds from the closest point to where it went OB, mark your lie with a miniature disc, and throw from there adding a 1-stroke penalty.
All holes will be played as PAR 3...(Total Par is 54)
While there is a lot of water and road OB, a lot of it isn't really dangerous.
Hole 1 OB Road left and behind basket
Hole 2 OB Road right, and basketball court
Hole 3 OB Tennis courts, and Mandatory left tree marked by ribbon.
