About this tournament
Madd Discs 2024 Match Play Tournament
PLEASE READ THE SECTION BELOW THROUGHLY!!
• 32 players max!! (If we don't get 32, then we will have to have byes in place, these will be randomly determined by the draw) If we exceed 32 players we will expand as needed (with byes randomly determined by a random draw)
• ONCE WE HIT 32 PLAYERS, PLEASE REGISTER FOR THE WAITLIST IF YOU ARE WANTING TO PLAY!! This will guarantee your spot in the bracket!! If MUST be registered by Wednesday September 11th at 5pm to be in the bracket!!
• $10 entry fee per player
• cash prize & trophy for the winner & the final 4 standing get paid!!
• all skill levels welcomed
• random drawing for bracket
• drawing will be done Wednesday evening (September 11th @ 7pm on Instagram)
• A copy of the live drawing will be posted to Facebook (after the drawing is completed) for all to see.
• Matches can begin play on Thursday, September 12th
• matches are responsible for scheduling their own matches and playing them in a reasonable time period
• following the match, please reach out and inform the TD staff of the results!
• standard match play rules, except there is no pushing to the next hole if you both score the same on a hole
• if tied after 18 holes, you go to sudden death
• winner advances to next stage of the bracket
• play your matchup on your own time, at a course & layout decided between you and your matchup
• each matchup is given 10 days to play their match, these can be played at weeklies or on your own time. There must be a witness present.

• must be flexible & able to work with others schedules
• bracket style / single elimination
• NOT PDGA Sanctioned
• Each hole is worth 1 point. Example: On Hole 1, Player A birdies and Player B takes par, then Player A wins Hole 1 and earns 1 point.
Hole 2, both players par, no points are awarded. Hole 3 is still only worth 1 point. Theoretically you can win the matchup with a score of 1-0. If you are tied up after 18 holes, start the sudden death on Hole 1 & play until someone earns a point.
• PLEASE remember there must be atleast 1 witness present & to abide by standard PDGA/course rules
Cash prizes will be paid to the TOP 3 FINISHERS!
1st - $200+ Trophy
2nd - $80
3rd - $40
(cash prizes for 1st - 3rd are subject to change depending on the total amount of players in the field)
