Paul Turner hits the only Ace for 315$! (Hole #5)

Thanks everyone! WOW what a turnout, our largest EVER and we've hosted this every year since the beginning. Scores should up no later than Monday evening. All 1st place win a disc, even if there are ties. I still have to double check but we think Paul Turner hit the only ace for 315$ cash!

As of now it's likely all 9 remaining spots will be claimed- it's best to count on being bright early early to take a spot if you didn't pre register. Even then, we cannot guarantee you will get a final spot. ALSO- it's best if not everyone who did pre register tries to play early- it will jam up like crazy, if you want to come later then come later it will make things smoother if some people do! If you plan to tee off in the last hour of tee times (10:30-11:30am) please try ... more

*Important notes for all players-
1. Parking in the grass is required- there is a marked out space between Woods #1 and Ponds #18. Form orderly rows facing East. Leave room to get out. The parking lot is only available once the grass area is full so check there first. We do not have enough parking.
2. There should be a BBQ food truck here from about 10am-1? pm, or until the food supply runs out, first come first served!
3. Come prepared- no carrying any other discs with you except the 3 pla ... more

will there be a map with the alternate tees before this weekend?

Ben Calhoun   July 25 at 10:03pm

They're marked now no map though.

The wasp nest on #14 is dead and removed, thank Donald for the help.

Ben Calhoun    July 23 at 1:23am

THERE WILL BE 9 OPEN SPOTS on tournament day still, first come, first served!

Ben Calhoun   July 23 at 5:46pm

Also note we will attempt (may not be able to if other things come up) alter 4-6 holes with a different tee area to mix things up!

Michael threehouse    July 21 at 1:28am

How can we find out if there are open spots the day of .. I would like to play but don't get paid till Friday to register...or can we still pre register on Friday

Ben Calhoun   July 21 at 1:39pm

Pre reg will end Thursday night at 11:59pm. There WILL be 9 spots open on the day of, but they will be first come first served can't be reserved or held player must arrive wait in line and get the spot before they're gone.

Michael threehouse   July 21 at 8:52pm

If we purchase the watermelon pitch are we able to use it in the tournament

Ben Calhoun   July 22 at 1:05am

Sorry no!

Ben Calhoun    July 20 at 3:32pm

Pre reg will cut off at 134 players if we reach it. Then there will be 9 open spots day of, first come first served!

We've extended the check in/tee off window now to 7:45am-11:30am to accomodate for a larger field. Remember it IS best if not everyone shows up to play right away early, yes you get first pick BUT it will be impossible to get everyone going all at once. So feel free to come any time by 11:30am. If you intend to show up on the very late side be sure to come with a friend who is playing so it's not hard to make a group.

Ben Calhoun   July 16 at 7:02pm

We've also cut the cap down a little just in case to allow for day-of people to show up and sign up if needed if it pre fills.

Ben Calhoun    July 14 at 10:00pm

Need input please reply even if no interest at all-
If we got a bbq food truck (operated by a local DG'er) would you likely buy lunch after your round? Breakfast before your round? Both? Or not at all. Thanks!

Shooting for being there about the time the 1st card may finish, then. Food truck food will then be first come first served and if they run out it at least they'll have been able to turn a profit! Thanks for supporting a vet and father, many of you may even know him.

Joseph Applegate   July 16 at 1:36pm

Just an offhanded comment- for any two round single day tourney would 100% love for there to be food on site. Always thought it would be a good idea.

Ben Calhoun   July 16 at 7:03pm

Joseph if this works out we'll see if future events the few that there are, can have a food truck for between rounds too.

Ben Calhoun    July 13 at 6:44pm

A few updates: 100% will be playing the Ponds to ensure a smoother flow of play no looking for discs on any holes, also everyone will need to park on the grass if playing in the event.

Ben Calhoun    July 12 at 8:57pm

Final day to withdrawl for a refund. After today, you own the player's pack no refund BUT you may pick it up after the event or pay for shipping for it.

Ben Calhoun    July 2 at 10:22pm

Important note: there will be extra players packs available after this event until September so you'll have to wait over a month to get one if you don't sign up (if any remain).
