MVP Circuit Challenge 2024 presented by Play It Again Sports - Cuyahoga Falls

Welcome to the MVP 2024 Circuit Challenge presented by Play It Again Sports - Cuyahoga Falls. A fundraising tournament benefiting the Johnson UMC Mission Trip Fund.

MVP has brought back this amazing tournament and we are excited to bring it to the disc golfers of Northeast Ohio. It will be a fun and festive environment in Norton on July 6th, so we hope you'll join us for an amazing time playing disc golf and supporting a great cause.

Players will play one round from the short tees at Johnson UMC, using ONLY THE THREE DISCS included in their Player's Pack.

Each player must select their starting times during registration and be present at least 30 minutes before their tee time.

CTP's and ACE Pot are included with the entry. We have prize discs for the winners which will be distributed at the wrap-up party or can be picked up following the tournament at Play It Again Sports - Cuyahoga Falls.

Players Pack

The cost of entry is $45 per person and each player will receive a Player's Pack from the MVP line of frisbees. Each Player's Pack includes an Axiom Prism Neutron Trance, Streamline Eclipse Echo, and an MVP Fission Watt.

During registration, players will have the opportunity to purchase an exclusive Watermelon Axiom Pitch. Each player may add this disc to their registration for $25. This disc is not currently available for purchase anywhere else besides this tournament.

Player Pack Only

An option to purchase just the Player's Pack is available for those who would like the discs but are unable to participate in the tournament. The cost is $40. If you purchase this option, you must pick up your pack at Early Pack Pickup or during the tournament. Following the tournament packs may be picked up at Play It Again Sports - Cuyahoga Falls.

We are unable to ship packs to any player. They must be picked up in person.

Prizes

Thanks to MVP Discs and Play It Again Sports - Cuyahoga Falls, we’ll be rewarding some players with prize payouts for their efforts in the tournaments. The payout structure listed below is based on current divisional percentages. The final payout structure will be determined based on the final divisional structure. Prize discs consist of a variety of MVP Lab 2nd discs and assorted new discs from Play It Again Sports - Cuyahoga Falls.

CTP and Ace Fund

In addition to the Player’s Pack, we’ll have a few CTPs available for each division throughout the day. Pure your shot and get a chance to win free discs and other merchandise from our sponsors.

The first three players who hit an Ace will receive a $40 gift card to Play It Again Sports - Cuyahoga Falls. The maximum ace payout is $120 for all players. If more than 3 players hit an Ace, the total amount of PIAS gift cards will be split evenly between them.

Raffle and Fundraiser

The church, and its congregation, have blessed this area with an amazing disc golf course. This tournament is a chance to thank the church for all they have done to grow the sport. A portion of each entry fee, along with 100% of raffle ticket purchases, will be given to Johnson United Method Church to assist in their annual Mission Trip for youths and adults.

To encourage players to attend the wrap-up party, we will be having a silent raffle to win one of several prizes at the wrap-up party. Everyone who is registered for the tournament will receive ONE free ticket. We will have additional tickets for sale at Tournament Central during check-in with 100% of the proceeds from these tickets being given to the Johnson UMC Mission Trip Fundraiser.

YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN. Tickets will be $1 each, or 6 for $5. No more than 6 tickets may be purchased by one person. Only one prize per person. A 6-pack of tickets may be purchased during registration. Individual and 6-pack of tickets may be purchased on the day of the tournament with cash.

Waitlist

Players may sign up for the Waitlist with no payment due. As with every tournament, a portion of the current registered players will drop prior to the tournament; roughly 10-15% due to whatever life stuff comes up. When this happens, a new player will be moved in and given 48 hours to make payment (and the dropped player will receive a refund minus DGS fees). Once Player Packs have been ordered, refunds are subject to TD discretion. In lieu of a refund, players may pick up their Players Pack at Play It Again Sports - Cuyahoga Falls following the tournament.

Wayward Circles Disc Golf is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.

There will be no cash refunds once registration closes (6/20). Anyone who withdrawals from the tournament after the close of registration will receive their Player Pack, which can be picked up at Play It Again Sports - Cuyahoga Falls following the tournament.
