MVP Birdie Bash (Circuit Challenge)

About this tournament
Three discs come with registration; you can only use these discs in the contest (special edition Watermelon discs can be used as well if purchased).
18 Hole Birdie Bash – Only throw twice (all holes par 3). There are no points possible on third throw. Pick up disc and move on; NO SLOW PLAY.
To score points, throw one of the following:
• Ace/Eagle (hole in one): 5 points
• Birdie (in basket in second throw): 2 points
• Metal Hit (including sign on top): 1 point each time/per throw
• If no points are scored on a hole, the player whose disc is closest to the pin after everyone in your group throws two throws (only one person in foursome): 1 point
SCORING EXAMPLES
Example 1: Your drive hits the basket but does not go in. You drain your birdie putt. You earn 3 points: 1 point for the metal hit on the drive, 2 points for the birdie.
Example 2: Your drive lands 150 feet away. Your 2nd shot is straight but low and hits the post. You earn 1 point. Do NOT putt out.
Example 3: No one in your foursome hits the basket or any metal part of the basket after two throws. Your disc is closest to the basket. You earn 1 point.
9 Hole Putting Course (Birdie Bash) - To Score Points, throw one of the following:
Only one throw allowed per hole…make it count!
• Ace/Eagle (hole in one): 3 points
• Metal Hit (including sign on top): 1 point
• If no points are scored on a hole, the player whose disc is closest to the pin after everyone in your foursome throws earns 1 point.
Event Held: Thursday, June 29, 6 p.m. (shotgun start)
Courses: Mostly short 18 holes; play Putting Course after 18-hole score card submitted
Check-in: Thursday, June 29, 4-5:30 p.m.
Player Meeting: Thursday, June 29, 5:45 p.m.
Awards: Following event
Place: Beacon Hill Park (5959 West Beacon Hill Boulevard, Highland, Utah 84003)
Registration: $40. Registration is open until spaces are full or June 15 (we have to preorder discs). Special edition Watermelon discs are $15 each, if supply lasts.
Groups: We will randomly assign cards. Four players max per card.
