MIDGC #9

Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Stony Creek Metropark in Shelby Township, Michigan
Disc golf doubles tournament

About this tournament

Now entering its third season, the Michigan Intercollegiate Disc Golf Challenge Series brings together disc golfers from around the State to play in two divisions. Players in the college division compete against students from other schools, while club players compete against each other.

Each event pits college and club players against each other in a match-play format in pick-your-partner best-shot doubles in the morning and singles in the afternoon. All matches are handicapped based on PDGA player ratings and/or home course averages to ensure that all players, regardless of their skill level, can be competitive.

Minimum cost to play is $10 for the day, maximum is $30. The ace pool going into MIDGC #7 at Cass-Benton on March 21 is $122.00. So, it could be substantially more come April 25th.

We'll be playing doubles at Stony Creek in the morning. Then, following lunch, we'll meet at River Bends for the singles round. Play should commence by 2:30.

Hope to see you there!
